*XAVIER’s—APARTMENT*

Lucinda rubbed her temples and winced at the throbbing pain in her head.

It was morning, and the sun ray was seeping through the white silk curtain which hung at the window.

“Fuck!” Lucinda groaned in aches as she sat up in bed.

Looking around the unfamiliar room, she couldn’t help but frown. ‘How did I get here?’ She thought.

Yeah, she recalled she was drunk... But...

As if on cue, the room was opened and Xavier came into view as he walked into the room.

“Hey, how are you feeling?” Xavier asked, concern etched on his face.

“Xavier!” Lucinda chuckled surprisingly when she saw him.

Xavier smiled handsomely at her.

“Well, I feel terrible,” Lucindaadmitted, “I got so drunk last night.”

“I know,” Xavier said with a laugh, “I saw you stumbling outside the clubhouse.”

Lucinda groaned and buried her face in her hands. “I can’t believe I made such a fool of myself.”

“Don’t worry about it,” Xavier said reassuringly, and he said. “We’ve all been there.”
