3. Angel Sue's Plan

I was still silent, watching Erika moaning in pain while curled up in bed. There's nothing I can do because it's none of my business. Even after the girl received treatment, she continued to feel the pain.

Instead of begging for healing or pain relief. Isn't she too silly?

"Hey, if you want, I can ask God to hasten your death, you will no longer feel pain after that," I suggested as soon as Erika felt better.

The girl leaned against the head of her bed and glanced at me sarcastically.

Is there something wrong with what I'm saying? What's with that annoying look? I'm just giving her a solution.

"You're not tired? The pain will keep coming even if you take the medicine and do all that chemotherapy, wouldn't it be better to die?"

"Can you shut your mouth, Angel Sue? I'm sure you don't understand that it's rude to tell someone just to die rather than live a hard life! You have no idea how precious every breath I have!" retorted Erika.

I approached and sat at the end of the girl's bed.

"I'm just giving you a suggestion, if you prefer to be constantly tormented like that, it's your choice!"

Erika smiled bitterly, then shook her head slowly. With difficulty, the girl straightened up and brought her face closer to mine to look at me intently.

Beautiful eyes.

"Can Angels feel happiness and sadness?" She asked innocently.

I moved and sat in the closet.

"Sure. I told you, we're not much different from you guys!" answered me with ease.

"I doubt you've ever felt sad," the girl sneered.

Other angels do feel that. But somehow, I had never thought about it before. What if something makes me happy or sad?

Ah, I was happy when Angel Ellenor was locked up in the courthouse by Archangel Jin. It was fun enough, comfortable enough. But, I'm sure I've never felt sad before.

"By the way, what about your search? I'm sure I've heard you say about the 100-day deadline God gave!" Erika quipped.

I shook my head weakly.

"I've arranged a small accident for you to meet. The red thread wasn't as long as I thought. You have to be at a certain distance for me to tie that thread. Yeah, I understand why this is called punishment. Really troublesome."

"No! Hey, you're an angel! Are you allowed to hurt people?" Erika screamed with sharply bulging eyes.

"Just relax! Your eyes can jump out if it's like that!"

Erika blinked as soon as I finished speaking. The girl frowned and looked at me angrily.

"When I said it was a minor accident, I made sure he wasn't hurt. So don't look at me like that!"

"Can I keep your word? That man is my future boyfriend, lest you hurt him!"

What is this? Did she threaten me?

How dare such a lowly human being do that?

"Don't provoke me, you didn't forget that your soul mate is in my hands, right? Don't let me change my mind and give a useless man to you!"I growled.

Erika immediately closed her mouth tightly and smiled broadly.

"Forgive me, O Great Angel of death! You know I like to joke, don't you?" She exclaimed while looking at me with sparkling eyes. Oh, she looks like a puppy begging for food.

"Ah, this is better." I comment.

"When will you meet me with him?" asked Erika with great enthusiasm.

"Soon. Just a suggestion, you look terrible! Can you change your face? I've seen something like a mask that would make someone's face turn beautiful!"

Erika narrowed her eyes and pouted her lips. Well, now she looks more like a puppy who has lost her food.

But who cares?

I flew straight to a crossroad where the man waited for the lights to turn green in his car.

I unrolled the paper with the data, the gift of the Angel Julian. I matched the picture on the scroll again with the man in the car.

Quite similar.

I snapped my fingers, making the car go pretty fast. It almost hit another vehicle if only the man named Jade had not slammed the steering wheel, hit the sidewalk, and hit a tree on one side of the sidewalk.

Today's technology is sophisticated enough to make Jade unharmed because of the security vasculitis in his car. I flicked my finger again until a flash of light temporarily blinded Jade's eyes.

Several people ran to Jade's car and questioned the man's condition. And, of course, they called an ambulance to take Jade to the hospital afterward.

I returned to Erika's room and sat at the table while the girl applied red lipstick to her pale lips.

The girl's appetite is fucked up. He looks like a clown with such red cheeks and lips.

"Hey, do you need to use that? You look like you just sucked someone's blood!"

"Ah, I knew this wouldn't suit me. What am I supposed to do?" She whined with a pitiful face.

"Just take off your makeup! Didn't I just tell you to wear that mask? What are you doing with all that stuff?!"

"Listen, Angel Sue! Everyone uses all these tools to beautify themselves! It's just that I'm not so good at wearing it! Hey, can you make me look prettier?" asked Erika while looking at me expectantly.

"I am an angel, not a magician!" I protest.

"You always do something like snap your fingers and everything you want comes true! Can you snap your fingers and make me the most beautiful woman ever?"

I laughed at the girl's request.

"You don't have to do anything then, I'll tie the red thread right away, so he'll fall in love with you even if you're the ugliest girl he's ever met!"

"You call me ugly? I am beautiful!" protested the girl.

"No matter what you think of yourself!"

Erika looked at me irritably.

"Don't be surprised if the guy can't see you. I just made him blind for a while!"

Erika glared at me with her mouth wide open.

"Are you crazy?! I will complain to God!"Erika screamed so loudly.

"God did not give me an arrow of love! I'm sure he doesn't mind my way. It's temporary anyway. He will soon regain his sight!"

Erika shook her head slowly. She grabbed a pillow and threw it at me. But, of course, I immediately destroyed it before it reached my face.

"How could you do that to my future boyfriend? Didn't I ask you not to hurt him?!"Erika half shouted.

Really, why is she making so much noise?
