Chapter 37 - Logan's problem

Michael POV

I press the button from the elevator with my eyes glued to my phone while I scroll through a contract sent by one of my assistants. The door pings opening, and I walk in without looking where I am going. People usually move away when they see me anyway. They know I am always in a rush. I raise my eyes from my phone to look at the buttons and press the thirty-third floor where my office is at the moment. We have the top floor being remodelled. There was a water pipe explosion situation that is now being dealt with.

I bring my eyes back to my phone, and I hear someone clearing their throat. I ignore it as I have more important things to attend to.

“Mr Lockwood?” I hear a man’s voice that I’ve never heard before. I lift my eyes and focus on his face. He is a beautiful tall man.

“May I help you?” I
