Chapter 20

I just closed my eyes out of fear but when I opened it again I didn't see Sir Elijah anymore. Beth tapped me on the shoulder and told me that Sir Elijah had left. I felt better and took a deep breath.

"Thank God, I thought Sir Elijah would catch us," I said to Beth with a smile.

"Yes, come on. Let's get out of here,"she said while pulling my hand.

It's like we're crazy people running out of the mall and looking around everywhere because our boss might see us. I was holding my chest as I was going to run out of breath.

"Stop it Beth! We are like thieves running here. Maybe the guard will catch us, "I told her.

"I don't think we will see Sir Elijah, why is he here? I thought he was on a business trip? "Beth asked curiously.

"Maybe he hasn't left yet, maybe his flight will be later,"I replied.

"Let's go home," Beth said and we left the Mall.

We hailed a taxi and rode home to the mansion. I was happy because somehow I was happy to be with Sir Darwin and enjoyed the walk in the Mall. I als
