Chapter 11

I woke up and Holden was gone. I was surprised at how clean his room was left. I trotted my way to the bathroom splashing some cold water on my face. It was sad to say that Holden's chaise was better than the bed I slept on.

I walked out of the room to see his sister standing by the oven. "Good morning," she sang. She looked happy another thing I was not expecting for the morning.

"Good morning," I said and I felt awkward that it sounded like a question.

"I'm sorry about last night. I hope it doesn't give you a bad impression of my family." She pulled out a tray of baked muffins from the oven.

"It's okay. I understand." She smiled, "how are you feeling though?"

"Well, I spoke to my father. He's not happy with the whole being knocked up and not married idea but it's done and there is nothing he can do to change that."
