Miguel's P.O.V

I was hurt, but I know if he was hurt more. I don't want to go to Meriam's brother's engagement party. I didn't think he was Aira's sister because they didn't look alike. I know they are both Villanuevas, but I really don't know. When I researched Aira, I only found out if she had a younger sister, but I didn't know that it was Meriam.

FLASHBACK

"Hey, how are you? It's been a while," the person on the other line said to you.

This is his first call since I texted him. I smiled because I admitted that I waited for him to call until I remembered that I was taken.

"How are you? What's up?" I asked on the other line.

"I need to attend my brother's proposal and engagement party at the same time, but I will be sad there because I will be alone, I don't get along with my brothers, and I don't have many friends here because I just came from the U.S.," he explained.
