Chapter 48 Love and War

This boat is fast, I thought. And then I decided to start a conversation with the man.

"How long have you been living on the Island?" I asked.

"I have been living there for twenty years," He replied.

"Okay" I replied.

"Are you the only one on the Island?" I asked.

"Yes," He replied.

"Okay" I replied.

"Did you have a family?" I asked.

"Yes in the country and none, on the Island" He replied.

"I have a son living in the outskirts of the country I am taking you to and my son has two daughters and one son. They are lovely grandchildren, ``he replied.

"Wow, that is great," I replied.

"Did you want to hear the story of how I got to the Island?" I asked.

"Yes," I replied, very much interested.

"Well it may be similar to yours" He said, turning the steering a bit as it sped down the left route as I literally saw some plant on the water.

"See fish," Thomas said, pointing at the jumping as he was literally very happy.

"Yeah it looks beautiful" I replied just to make sure he knows he is not alone
