Chapter twelve: I trust you.

  "Bayo, why haven't you called Tayo to confirm what you heard? If she betrayed us we need to act fast and cancel our contract with that firm." Bunmi says impatiently.

"Bunmi, you're wasting your time talking to this one." Arin says, chiming in. "That lawyer lady already has his number and nothing you say or do will bring him back to his right senses. The best we can do for him now is look for a good cleric to help me snap out of whatever trap she has set for him, if not, he will transfer the entire company to her by tomorrow morning, if care is not taken sef, he'll sell us for her sake." He adds immediately, earning a death glare from me. 

I know they were right to be suspicious and I should be too but I just didn't have it in me to distrust Tayo. The fact that she went to see Justice Onuh definitely worried me but not in the same way it worried them. 

They are worried that she might have switch
