Collins

After the shock wore off of seeing my grandfather sitting on my couch the damn burst. I immediately started bawling my eyes out.

I hadn’t seen him since we had moved. And my grandfather and I were very close. I had hoped he would come with us. I had begged him to come. But he was an elder in my home pack. And elders were too important. He was right up there with the alpha and beta of our pack.

There weren’t many elders left in the world… which made him all that much more important. An elder wasn’t just a werewolf that was getting up there in age. It was a wolf who had a hand in creating the pack. They were there from the beginning. They helped in choosing the very first alpha out of the few people were there. That decision was one of the biggest ones .. because that family would always be responsible. They created the laws of the pack, built it up to make it what it was this day.

But there he was. Right in front of me. I thought I’d never stop crying but eventually he rel

Alan“So I’m taking it that my sister told you.” I said. Not that I minded Collins knowing. I knew she would never endanger me with it. “She didn’t .. not really.. she just implied it.” She said. “Wait. Collins. You know you can’t tell anybody this right? I mean about you….” I said. But then I remembered that not one but two random werewolves saw her do it. “I know…” she said. “I don’t even know if I ~can~ for sure do it. And I don’t really know how to trigger it. Apparently I have to be in somewhat of a dangerous situation.”About three million questions we’re going through my head. “But somebody saw you doing it.. two people… besides the girls..” I said. “I know but it’s alright Alan. I don’t think Remington saw me he was too busy tryin to take Breck’s neck off. And Breck didn’t call it that.. he just noticed I was shifting quickly which I told him I always had done that. Plus I trust him.” She said. Another growl was crawling up my throat at her talking about these dudes. E

Alan We stopped at the pack diner for lunch. While we waited on the food she told me about dance and the competition she had coming up in January. She said she wasn’t loving it near as much as she used to but she couldn’t quit because of her scholarship. I hated that for her. And asked couldn’t she look into getting other scholarships…. She said it was most likely too late for that. But I decided I was going to ask Emily to look into it for her anyway .. just in case. Lauren brought our food over. She still looked at me like she wanted to take some garden shears to my dick. That girl is fucking scary. But I noticed she also had some coloring in her hair and realized they must’ve done that yesterday during their hangout sesh. “Did you have fun hanging with the girls yesterday?” I asked her. She grinned and said yes. Then she seemed to remember something and frowned. I didn’t know what that was about but I didn’t push her on it. “Did your dad or friend from home tell you anythin

Alan It was day three of Collins’ break. Well. Day two because the first day she was on the bus the whole time. I knew she was going to be busy with her family and best friend. I mean her grandfather and Rachel had travelled hundreds of miles to be with her during her break .. so obviously she’d want to spend as much time with them as possible. But I wanted to see her too. So when she called me up on the third … no, second… day and asked if I wanted to go for a walk .. I said hell yeah. It was early when she called me so I crammed down breakfast and was headed out of the pack house. Of course right then Ingrid showed up. “Hey!” She said brightly. Wow couldn’t keep this girl down. I knew I was going to have to spill the beans to her about Charlotte most likely being her half sister. I needed to do that soon. But I didn’t want a repeat of the last time Collins was home… and I wasn’t going to repeat mistakes. The talk with Ingrid would have to wait. “Hey Ingrid.” I said trying to n

Collins I was in the air for probably five seconds and switched back and forth between wolf and human about the same amount of times. I then ran from one side of the clearing we were in to the other .. seeing if I could do it without jumping. Surprisingly I could easily change back and forth. I was zip zapping all over the place. Human. Wolf. Human. Wolf. Human. Wolf. I did it so much in that one moment that it got really easy to do. Which I was glad of so I could stop thinking of Garrett’s disgusting hands on me. Rachel had suggested.. solemnly… that I think back to that time. It would certainly make me feel threatened. And it had certainly worked. I stopped in front of the girls and looked at them. “How was that? Was it quick?” I asked them. They stared at me with their mouths opened. “What.” Lauren said. “The”. Rachel added. “Fuck?” Emily finished. “Collins …. That was … I don’t even know what I just saw ..” Rachel told me. “Um.. Collins …” Emily started. “ I think

Collins The next day I was back on the bus headed for home. This time I wasn’t nervous about it though.. I was excited. It was Christmas holidays. I’d brought everyone’s gift packed up nicely in an extra large suitcase. That, along with my suitcase for clothes and another one for everything else. Then I brought my bag onto the bus with me that had my new books and things for me to do on the ride. I had gotten nervous while packing.. probably about seeing Alan face to face. And the more I thought about it the more stuff I crammed into suitcases. I had hated saying goodbye to Jenny. She was going to stay at the dorm a couple more days before going home. Her house was just a couple minutes down the road so it wasn’t like most people that had an entire travel day ahead of them. I felt horrible knowing I was so excited to see my family, and she was dreading spending time with hers. I hoped she and her mom could get along for a few days without Jenny killing her. “Call me every day.” Sh
