Josie POV I had been waiting in this cell what felt like forever. Yet I knew it had not been long. Certainly not as long as Sarah had been here and all that she had endured. Josie POV Sitting there trying to quell the nerves in my stomach, I sit back as the omega pushes the food to me. Sam POV We had been running in our wolf forms for what seemed like longer than a couple hours. The terrain was rough. I could not imagine them carrying Josie all this way to secure her away from being found. There must be a road access that was not shown on the maps I had researched. Sam POV I was broken for Jack. His mate, Sarah, was passed out in his arms. And he could do little to help her. The only thing that might help is with the bond between mates he can take some of her pain away or lessen some of the pain Sarah was experiencing. But we needed to get her help right away. Jack POV Listening to Josie share the limited information she knew about Sarah caused me to feel rage inside. I was sure her and Jenna could tell I was getting angrier. I wanted to remain calm for my mate but knowing what she endured was killing me. As we stood there, I noticed Josie had gone silent and started to sway beside me. Sam POV It bothered me that I could not be honest with everybody. I had tried to speak to Josie, but again I was blocked from speaking. As I walk out of Josie’s room, I see Adam standing outside the room Jenna is in. “Any word on Sarah?” I ask Adam. Sarah POV I had not expected to wake this quickly. I knew it had not been long since I had been captured.
