Chapter 30.

Destinee POV.

Hearing his name echoing in my head, I can’t believe Aura never told me. Fenrir, the harbinger of death, has been following us.

“I’m sorry Destinee, I should have told you.” Feeling the betrayal again but this time by my own fucking wolf. I scoff. She is no different from those who have betrayed me in the past.

I want answers, and she will give me them.

“How long has been following us? Tell me Aura.” I feel so defeated. My anger is rising in me. My wolf betrayed me.

Aura whines and crawls on her belly. “The day you picked up on the scent by the apartment. It was Fenrir.” I gasp at her confession. He has been following us for two years and she never said a word.

Clenching my fists to my sides, the rage rises in me. I want to scream and trash the room.

“What does he want, Aura, and don’t lie to me? I can’t believe you never told me.” I shout at her. My chest hurts. If Fenrir is here, then it means he is here to wreak havoc and destruction.
