It was six o'clock in the evening and everyone was already home. Upon arriving, he threw his backpack on the couch and sat at the kitchen table on one of the high stools, eating dinner made by his mother. He turned on the TV and his mother sat beside him and spoke.

"Well..." Leila, his mother, sighed. "Is everything fine with Katherina?"

"Neither here nor there," he replied, taking a bite. "I can't stand her, I detest her. She thinks she's the important one."

"That's what they say about you too," his mother said, and Tom glanced at the TV with annoyance. "Leave that girl alone, don't you have anyone else to bother?"

"It seems not," Harry said, approaching them and feeding his dog, Tessa. "But still, Katherina always puts him in his place, never fails."

"I think that's perfect," Leila said, and Tom looked at her as if to say, "Now you're on her side." The woman didn't care much and continued speaking. "In that regard, she resembles both her father Idris and her mother Clara. Leave
