Chapter Twenty Two

“So when are we going to see The Pond, you promised remember?” we were in the kitchen having breakfast and I quickly got tired of picking at mine.

“are you crazy, you saw what happened yesterday right?” Josh said.

“it's dangerous out there Kyra you’re lucky you didn't get torn to pieces.” Cherry said.

“well good thing Isaac was there right?” I said watching each of their expressions. “Maybe we should ask him to come along for protection.”

“are you crazy the Alpha would have our hides if we even dream of putting you in harm's way. You should've seen how furious he was.”

Cherry kicked his leg from under the chair thinking I wouldn't notice. I didn't want to drag it on so I pulled the rug from under them.

“did you know isaac’s a werewolf?”

Josh choked on his food while Cherry looked impassive probably searching for more lies she could tell me.

“what makes you think that?” she asked.

“I saw him transform yesterday when he saved me from that wolf.”
