Chapter seventeen

Veronica walked into the kitchen and stopped dead in her tracks when she saw her little sister listening to music while taking scones out of the oven.

It was the strangest thing ever because her sister only ever walked into the kitchen to drink water or get herself some juice and that's it.

Even the maid, Lara was equally shocked and just stood there watching with wide open eyes.
