“Why would you even want to go back there after what they tried to do to you the last time?” Millie asked me.

“There is something I need to find out from my dad,” I told Millie.

“What on earth could that be?” She asked me.

“There is this man, whose name is Donny,” I started. “Apparently, he is responsible for what happened to Chase’s eyes,” I continued.

“For real?” Millie asked me.

“Yes, Millie, for real,” I answered, wanting to continue with my story.

“So, I see that you are still concerned about Chase,” Millie said, but she didn’t say it in a judgmental way.

“I am still his manager, Millie, and it is my job to be concerned about his welfare,” I responded.

“But how does his eyes, which I am sure happened years back, happen to do with your job as his manager?” Millie asked.
