We sit in the car for a few minutes to make sure Claire does have another false contraction before heading inside. After a long night of coming to terms with my new life and all its changes, I fell asleep with ease. Sleep was becoming a rarity at this stage in my pregnancy so any chance was more than enough reason to do so. I was surprised when I had awoken to the soften pitter-pattering of rain on the windows. After a Power Nap, I continue formulating my escape. I had found several escape routes that lead to other wings of this facility but I had yet to find the one I needed - the one leading to one of the many restricted exits. It seems that each exit was confidently designed without linkage to any ventilation. I kept coming up short ended with ever growing frustration.
