DANY LOUIS ✿

My eyes opened slantly at the bright hospital light above me, and the nurse walked to me with a bright smile, "you are awake"

She said, my head hurts like crazy, as I tried remembering what happened to me the last time, and the faint picture of me slumping at Derek's house was what I could last remember.

"How did I get here?" I asked with a squinted brows, "The 911 emergency rushed you here two days ago when you slumped at your ex-husband's house" The nurse said.

"And your belongings has all been well arranged at the hospital shelter" She explained, such a devil Derek is, after ruining my life, he couldn't even bring me to the hospital, instead calling 911 and tossing my luggages out of the house.

Soon, the doctor came in and checked my blood pressure and everything I knew nothing about,

"Glad there is no damage to the baby at all" The doctor said, I paused, my brows squinted, did I hear that right?

"Excuse me, I think there's been a mistake, I am not pregnant, I slumped due to a shock, Infact I am a barren so what are you talking about?" I asked, how could he make such a mistake ?

It was literally like mocking my inability to conceive, and reminding me about my infertility, how Derek said to my face that I was an empty barren and that was my fate.

"Excuse me, you are two weeks pregnant, there's been no mistake here, Aren't you Dany Louis? This is your test document, and I did it myself, there is no way a young woman like you would be barren, Infact your fertility fought off the toxic tea you've been taking" He said, and my jaw dropped.

Toxic tea? Two weeks pregnant? At these instant it all doesn't add up, i always take my med is he meaning to tell me my Doctor and Derek conspired to feed me infertility tea?

It turned out I had married a monster, who ruined my life, manipulated me, and stole everything from me, I will avenge everything he's done to me and make sure he loses everything he held dear.

Tears fell out of my eyes and at that moment I found something to make me happy, my unborn child I will burn the world for them, even if their father was a gigolo what matters is that I will always be there as a father and mother.

I left Neon Heights to smaller city far away where I intended to start a new life and take care of my child, Living in Neon Heights would only wreck my mental health, I needed a new life to start over with just me and my child.

It was going well, I had quite enough to start over and as the months passed my stomach grew bigger and bigger, it was so big that I fear my stomach would burst open.

Nine months passed I was rushed to an hospital where I was delivering my babies, it was excruciating and as well I was filled with joy, I kept releasing and releasing which made me wonder if they were at all babies.

And after I was done, I saw 6 nurses holding my babies in their hands, "are those my babies?" I asked, and they all nodded affirmatively with a big smile.

"One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six" I counted as tears fell out of my eyes, six bundles of joy, I held them one after another, as congratulations starting pouring from the doctors.

6 years later, my children were big and adorable I couldn't wait to meet them and show them what I got from the supermarket,

The moment I drove home, I could hear their happy voice from indoors the moment they heard my car parked at the front of our porch.

"Mummy!!" I heard my pretty little angels tiny voice called as Bellenora, Nartha and Willow rushed to hug me, I couldn't see the boys.

"Where are your brothers?" I asked as I hugged them tightly and kissed their foreheads.

"They are repairing the sink for you mommy" Bellenora said with her tiny voice, her hair pale silver straight and cascading down her shoulder just like mine,

"You complained about it this morning mommy" Nartha said, as she gently tucked her silver hair with tinges of black.

"And we didn't want mommy to complain about anything " Willow added she had dark straight hair with her eyes a luminous shades of purple just like mine and unlike her other siblings who all had ocean blue eyes, and tears prickled my eyes, such sweet little angels.

"Milo! Aiden! mommy is here" I heard Callan called to his siblings as they rushed to hug me from the kitchen and they hugged me tightly, they all had blue eyes and jet black hairs, and then Allysanne their nanny came out of the bathroom with well neatly packed laundry.

"Welcome Dany" Ally said with a smile. "Thanks for looking after my little angels" I appreciated, Bringing out the gifts I bought for my little angels they were so happy and rushed in to open their gifts.

"Dany, we've received a reminder for our three months notice, we have one month left before we get evicted" Ally reminded me, and my heart thudded, I was financially in trouble, Just now i had enquired online about the school fees for my angels which costs approximately $300,000 how will I afford these bills, I only have less than 350k left on me to move and get an apartment when we move back to the City Neon Heights, So I could get a job and be able to pay my bills.

6 years should be enough not to be affected or feel anything by Derek, My children needs to start a new life in the city, and my past pain should not stop that.

A week passed and we traveled back to Neon Heights along with Allysanne, by this time getting an apartment at Neon Heights was crazily expensive, I was dead ass broke after settling down, as tears fell from my eyes, Derek had stolen everything from me and also the privilege of my adorable babies living a comfortable and luxurious life.

"Mommy? When are we resuming school?" I heard Milo approaching as I immediately wiped my tears, and I held him close to me,

"Soon baby, soon, mommy will get a job and send you to the best school in Neon Heights" I said as he laid his head on my laps and slept off.

The next day I checked my system and I received two email responses from companies I've submitted my CVs to for a Public Relation Office position.

And the one that stood out was the biggest tech company in Neon Heights, Called Jade Tech, Immediately I prepared and drove to the company for my interview.

The office buzzed with an unusual energy that Dany couldn't place. As soon as she entered the building the next morning, she was greeted by the sharp, tense faces of her coworkers. They whispered in low voices, glancing at her as if they knew something she didn’t. The usual hum of keyboards and clicking mice was absent, replaced by an eerie stillness that made Dany’s skin crawl. She dropped her bag at her desk, still haunted by the events of the previous night. Alary... giving birth out of nowhere. The baby. The van. The secrecy. Dany couldn't shake the image of the newborn in her arms, the fragile, helpless life that she had handed away to those shadowed figures. It haunted her in the quiet moments, in the space between thoughts, a reminder that she had just made a decision that could ruin her life.Dany rubbed her temples, willing the exhaustion from her body. The office was eerily silent. The last of the employees had left hours ago, their chatter and hurried footsteps fading into the night. The city lights outside flickered against the tinted glass windows, mocking her with their freedom.Jade Laurent had made it clear—she wasn’t leaving until the extra work was done. She sighed, rubbing her temples before deciding she needed a break. Standing on shaky legs, she made her way to the restroom, the empty hallways amplifying the sound of her heels clicking against the floor. As soon as she stepped into the bathroom, she froze.Alary was on the ground, curled up in pain. Sweat beaded her forehead, her hands clutching at her stomach as she let out a muffled whimper."Alary?" Dany's voice wavered in confusion and alarm. "What's happening? DANY LOUIS ✿The morning air was crisp, but I barely felt it. My heart pounded in a frantic rhythm as I checked the time on my wristwatch. One hour left.Jade Laurent had given me fifteen, and now only one remained. My throat tightened as I turned back toward the house, drinking in the sight of my babies—my six little stars, still lost in sleep. I bent down, pressing a gentle kiss to each of their foreheads, letting my lips linger just a moment longer than necessary. If I don’t come back—No. I swallowed hard. I couldn’t afford those thoughts now.Alyssane stood by the door, arms crossed, her expression hard with concern. "Are you sure about this?""I don’t have a choice," I whispered. "You said it yourself. We’re at his mercy."She exhaled sharply, then reached out and squeezed my hand. "Then go. Before it’s too late."I nodded, turning on my heel and rushing to my car. My hands trembled as I gripped the steering wheel, and I forced deep, measured breaths to keep myself steady. The
