Joanna was in Selena’s penthouse in the city. Selena had given Joanna a key to her in the city home last month. Selena had said if there was an emergency or if she got there before Selena did for their meet-ups, Joanna wouldn’t have to wait in the lobby.
She was in the bathroom pulling her hair into a ponytail when she heard the door open.
“Whew, it is scorching out there,” Beverly commented.
“I know. That’s one of the reasons why I left little Chris at home with the nanny,” Selena said.
“How are the men of Hudson, anyway?” Beverly asked.
