Bella stood on the street with a teary and pale face, still contemplating where to go. She knew the only place she could go was her previous apartment, where Mia stayed.

She quickly ordered a cab and headed there, trying to process the events that had just transpired. As she sat in the cab, she couldn't help but think about the argument she had with James. She had never seen him so angry and hurt before, to the extent of telling her to leave and it broke her heart to know that she was the cause of it.

She got to the apartment, pressed the door button, and the voice from inside replied, "Give me a minute; I'm coming.”

Bella waited patiently, trying to compose herself. She didn't want to break down in front of Mia, but she knew it was inevitable. As Mia opened the door, she was surprised to see Bella, whose eyes were filled with tears.

"Not again, what's going on? What happened this time?" she said, as she paved the way for Bella to come in.
