“No, She's safe now, Claire is at home,” I said to Amanda as I walked to the window looking out.

“No Amanda, you don't have to come” I replied after she volunteered to catch the next flight to come to see how Olivia is doing.

I called her when Olivia went missing, I thought she was tired of everything and wanted a break from life and decided to take a vacation or something without telling anybody but I guess I was wrong, She will not run away from everything after her mum just went through a major surgery. she is such a strong woman.

I looked over at Liv to see her breathing slowly and bandage all over her body as the nurse checked the drip and adjusted her covers gently. I held back tears as I closed my eyes and open it again. She doesn't deserve this.

“Are you there? Does Mia know about this?” Amanda asked snapping me out of my thoughts.

“Mia does not know everything and I would like to keep it that way” I replied running my hands over my hair.
