23. He is ignoring me

As I thought, the food Ophelia had made was quite delicious. when she was serving she had put some in food flasks and kept it on the kitchen island. I thought she wanted to take it to her home, until when I asked, she told me it was for Mr. Christian.

I doubted why he didn't eat with us, because when he told me to go meet the others for dinner, I thought he would come down to join us, but he never did.

It was my first day at his house, so I didn’t want to dwell on matters that did not really concern me and mind my business, though I always find it difficult at times to mind my business.

When I woke up the next morning, the first thing I did was to go to the kitchen, because right now I was still confused as to what to start working with, or where to start working.

I didn’t have a talk with Mr. Christian last night, before he went to sleep. After he had told me that his gym was admirable but forbidden to go inside, he went up the stairs and never came back.
