I searched through my bag, searched my closet, and even searched the basket I had taken food inside to Mr. Christian the other day but I couldn’t find anything.

I couldn’t afford to lose that chain.

My father had given me that on my 19th birthday.

It meant a lot to me.

It reminded me of my father and if I lost it means I have lost my father.

I didn’t even notice it when I came back from the office the other day.

I knew it was around my neck, never knowing that it had fallen off.

It was only after I left the bathroom this evening and came and stood in front of my mirror did I notice the chain was not around my neck and I started searching for it.

I have searched almost everywhere but I still couldn’t find it.
