CHAPTER FIFTEEN

MIA'S POV

I woke up this morning with serious fatigue and a very persistent urge to vomit. I almost vomited out all of my intestines.

I was weak and tired but I needed to be at the office early this morning. Mr Black will be meeting with some important clients today. I managed to get myself to work despite my weakness.

I got to work a little earlier than usual. I prepared everything he will be needing with this meeting today.

I must have fallen asleep on my desk because I didn't hear Mr Aiden when he came into my office.

"You didn't get enough rest last night? " I jolted awake on hearing his voice.

"Not at all sir. Do you ……." I didn't get to complete my sentence as I sneezed out uncontrollably.

"Is everything alright with you ?"

"Yeah, I am fine sir."

"You don't seem good to me. You know what, you can just stay behind, I will attend this meeting with Audrey."

"Are you sure you don't need me there sir?"

Why was he acting caring all of a sudden? This was not the Mr Black I knew
