CHAPTER FOURTEEN

MIA'S POV

"Hello...Who is this?".... I was trembling with fear. I kept yelling at the empty phone. "Hello! Hello! Who is this?"

I rushed out of the house in fear. I literally entered into the company shaken. I was looking all white and cold like someone died.

I ran straight to Mr Black's and barged in without knocking. I doubled over trying to catch my breath with both hands on my knees.

I lifted my head and saw Audrey was also in the office with him. They both stood up at the same time immediately I barged in.

"Is everything okay, Miss Anderson?" I heard Mr Black ask with concern.

I was literally in tears already before I could speak.

"No,nothing is okay. Everything is falling apart." I heaved.

"Please calm down and talk to me. What happened? What has got you all worked up?" He asked again nervously.

"What happened, Mia?" Audrey asked.

She was also nervous.

"They…they are going to kill the only family I have left." I hiccupped.
