Chapter 11: Identifying a Thief

Casey POV

"Well then who is it?"

Casey is thrilled to learn that Heather has figured out who has been stealing from his family company. He can tell that Heather seems nervous and apprehensive about talking to him, but he cannot tell if it is about the identity of the thief or because of the kiss they shared in this very room only a couple of days ago.

"I tracked down the account numbers I flagged from Mr. O'Brien's records, which led me to the bank, and from there I was able-"

"Heather!" Casey interrupts, "You are rambling. I do not need to know all of the technical details. I trust you and your work. Please just tell me who the thief is."

Heather takes a deep breath before looking Casey directly in the eye.

"Vincent Dillion," She says.

Casey is shocked. This cannot be true. Vincent is family. He wouldn't do this.
