Chapter 3 - Her trial

Lara's POV

"That bastard Calvin!"

I looked at Liam when I heard his angry voice. After a while, he looked at me and my heart beat rapidly. That look was different, and I knew what he wanted to do.

"H-Hey! Don't look at me like that!" I said to him as I tried to cover my body with my hands.

He grabbed my arms and quickly walked out of the venue door. My heart was pounding with nervousness until we got inside the elevator.

"W-What are you going to do with me?" I asked him nervously.

Liam started acting strangely, as if he were not the Liam I knew. He was like a wild animal looking for something to eat.

Then, moments later, my eyes widened as he grabbed my wrist with one hand and raised it over my head, and he pinned me against the wall, pressing his body against mine.

I felt the intense desire in his actions, but I knew he was trying to hold it back.

He put his face inches away from mine. I closed my eyes tightly and waited for what he was about to do. But when I opened my eyes, I saw him biting his lower lip hard, trying to control his inner beast. It was almost bleeding from what he was doing.

The elevator opened, and he immediately pulled me out. The last thing I knew, we were inside a room with only a lampshade next to the bed serving as the light around us.

"Get out of this room, Claire," he said, then turned his back, causing me to furrow my brow.

I could see that he was struggling to control himself, and I didn't know why he needed to do that.

‘I mean... Claire is his wife.’

I clenched my fist. I knew I didn't have any experience with this, but it might worsen his condition if I didn't do anything. Besides, I was slowly feeling the effects of that drug on my body, and I was starting to feel hot. I felt something between my thighs, and it was slowly soaking through my underwear.

I swallowed hard, then gently grabbed Liam's hand. He was startled and slowly turned to me.

"If this is what will help you... Then do it," I said, permitting what was about to happen.

His eyes widened because of what I said, but moments later, I was surprised when he quickly pressed his lips against mine. He forced his tongue into my mouth and played with mine. I don't know how to respond, but I seemed to learn how to follow the dance of his tongue.

His hands started to move around my body until they reached the back of my waist. He pulled me closer to him, causing me to feel the hard thing between his thighs.

He hugged my body tightly, then lifted me onto the bed and gently laid me down. When our lips parted, I looked into his lustrous eyes, and I knew he wanted nothing more than to release the heat of his body.

"Are you sure about this? If I start, there's no turning back," he warned me.

I don't know why, but I felt warmth in those words.

'Do I like this?'

I slowly opened my lips and replied, "Own my body, Liam."

I don't know where those words came from and why I said them; all I know is that I want to help him with what he was feeling.

As our naked bodies lay on top of the blanket, the cold breeze from the AC doesn’t bother the heat coming inside our bodies.

This is the first time I felt this kind of sensation, and I admit, I'm slowly starting to like it.

Moments later, I felt something warm between my thighs.

"Spread your legs," he said with authority.

I swallowed hard because even though the room was dimmed, I could see his impressive length with my two eyes.

Unconsciously, I moved my thighs and spread them, as if accepting his body wholeheartedly. He started to aim his length at my sensitive area, and I felt the heat of it. He slowly pressed it inside me, and I couldn't help but close my eyes because of the pain; it felt like my whole body was torn apart.

"Y-You're bleeding?!" he said in shock.

He was about to pull it out as I wrapped my legs around his back.

"J-Just do it," I said to him.

I don't know if this is still part of my job, but I only know one thing: I liked what happened to us.

"Aahh!" I moaned when I felt the entirety of his manhood in my flesh. He started moving, and pain turned into sensation. A lustrous feeling that I never thought I would experience.

I slowly move my hips and dance along with him. He thrust deep into me, and I felt like I was about to reach my climax at any moment. My legs curved upwards when I felt something building in my muscles.

"Oohhh.... L-Liam," I moaned his name as I felt my release.

I heard him chuckle, and I knew that at this point, he was surely going crazy with what he was feeling.

That night, I don't know how many times we claimed each other's bodies. I know he's my first, and I don't regret it.

The sun rays on my face as Liam slowly opened the curtain. It was morning, and I still felt the soreness in my body.

"Sorry to wake you up," Liam said when he noticed the frown on my face.

I slowly opened my eyes and saw him wearing a bathrobe. He was walking towards a chair and a table with coffee on it.

When my eyes met his face, the memories of last night flashed back in my head.

'Sh*t! Did I really do it with him?' I whispered to myself.

I couldn't believe that a love drug would affect me. I closed my eyes tightly when I felt the pain between my thighs.

"Don't move too much. I know you're still in pain," Liam said, then took another sip of his coffee. “I still didn’t expect that your body is still pure, Claire.”

I remained quiet since I don’t know how to answer those words.

After a few minutes, I felt the pain in my body slowly subside. I tried to sit up and leaned against the headboard.

"L-Liam, about last night–"

"It was good. I didn't think I would do that to you. But then, we're married, so I don't see anything wrong with it. The only problem is..."

He stopped talking and looked at me. I felt like he was stripping me in his mind with those stares. He set down his coffee cup and stood up slowly. He walked towards me while I gripped the bed sheet tightly. He climbed onto the bed and brought his face closer to mine. We were only a few inches apart, and I felt the warmth of his breath.

"You woke up the beast hidden inside me, Claire. From now on, you can't blame me if I want your flesh even more."

Liam moved away, leaving me stunned and my heart beating rapidly.

After that day, I didn't expect Liam to change so much. He started showing his affection and somehow, I don’t feel his arrogance.

I was currently in the garden when I heard the maid calling me.

"Ms. Claire!"

I raised my eyebrow and crossed my arms, then looked down at the panting maid.

"Can't you see that I'm walking in the garden and having my own time? Who are you to interrupt me?" I yelled at her irritably. It’s a part of my job because that's how Claire treated the maids.

"I-I'm sorry, Ma'am. Sir Liam was looking for you," she said as if she were in a hurry.

My brow started to furrow, and I looked up. Not far from where I was standing was Liam's bedroom window. I just sighed when I saw him wearing a bathrobe and looking out from the balcony.

"What does he want now?" I mumbled to myself. "Fine! I’ll go," I replied to the maid in front of me, then went inside the mansion.

When I reached the door of Liam's room, my heart started to beat faster. I felt like something was about to happen.

I turned the doorknob and went inside. Moments later, my eyes widened when Liam was already in front of me. He grabbed my shoulder and pinned me against the door. He gently pressed his lips against my neck and started sniffing me like an animal.

"I love this scent," he said, making my face flush.

He looked straight into my eyes, and I felt like I melted under those stares. I don't know why, but every time he stares at me like that, I feel warm in my chest, and my heart feels like it wants to jump out of my ribcage.

"Didn't I tell you that I might not be able to control myself if something happens to us?" Liam said directly to me.

My eyes widened when he quickly pressed his lips against mine. I wanted to protest, but it felt like my body was accepting him. The last thing I knew, we shared the bed over and over again.

A week later, I had gotten used to sleeping in his bed, and I felt like we were husband and wife. I know it's wrong, and I know I shouldn't, but I'm slowly starting to like what's happening between us.

That morning, Liam was sleeping soundly and I quietly left his room. I went to my room and opened the drawer on the side of my bed. My eyes widened when I saw the contraceptive pills, untouched. My heart beat fast.

'W-When did I stop taking the pills? Did I forget?' I asked myself repeatedly because I had no idea about the big mistake I had made.

I placed my hand over my belly.

"This can't be happening," I said with great regret.

I tried to push those fears out of my mind, then I slowly stood up. But when I did, my vision started to spin and I completely got dizzy, causing me to sit back down on the bed. Tears started to stream down my cheeks as I realized what was happening.

"N-No! I-I can't! I can't get pregnant."
