It's almost evening when we reach the Monarch's. I'm feeling very annoyed sitting among them, passing only files and papers. The meeting is taking a huge time, it's stretching with every passing minute. Monarch isn't ready to invest more in our project because Sid has lost all faith in him. Sid has wasted 2 hours explaining to him the benefits of their collaboration but I don't think it's gonna work. Once you lose faith, you can't bring it back.
"Pass me the documents in the blue file," Sid says in a low tone while I am standing behind him. I couldn't hear him as I was lost in my thoughts.
"Miss Watson," he shouts as I come out of my thoughts being nervous. My heartbeat raises high, I mumble as I look at him.
