Nicholas was looking at me while saying those words. I was surprised to know that the reason why he rushed all the way here, was because he was willing to donate blood for Mama Lynette. I didn't expect that he would be kind to us like this. Honestly, ever since I experienced being rejected by William, and being bullied by his wife, Tessa, I almost thought that rich people were like that. They look down on people, and they think of themselves as superior to everyone. They don't care about other people's condition, as long as they could fulfill their selfish desires, they will continue using us. That's what was inside my head before listening to what Nicholas told me.

With a stuttering voice, I asked him, "Are you sure about that?"

"Vanessa, this is an emergency. I also don't have time to look for other donors, but myself. Why would I find others if I could donate on my own?" He asked while looking at me.
