Emelia's Pov

The car rolled into a stop at the RedField's mansion, I glanced up, frowning when I saw the huge building. If I had a choice, I would never come here again. I stepped out from the other side of the car, watching as Nora skipped happily into the house. When I walked in, the gazes of the servants turned to me, then they began whispering to themselves, some even snickered and pointed at me without any reservations. They all knew my position in this family and they knew that they were going to take full advantage of it.

“Emelia?” Liam's voice came from behind me, he was standing at the top of the stairs, confused and shocked. I suppressed a smile at the expression on his face.

“What the fuck are you doing here? Didn't you say that you wanted to cut ties with us? Why did you come back?” Liam asked in quick succession, even if I wanted to answer, he didn't give me a chance to get a word in.
