60. Kiss Me Or Touch Me

SCARLETT.

I was happy today. I knew why. I welcomed it.

I didn't know settling things with Finn could bring this much peace. Yesterday, I had felt really uncomfortable, like there was a heavy weight in my chest and as soon as he agreed to come back, it was lifted off immediately and I felt relieved.

Today was a really busy day for me. To take my mind off my problems, I immersed myself in work.

During lunch break, I stayed back to make a few calls and after lunch, I decided to take a break.

Finn was still in his office, reading a book. I went in and snatched the book from his hand before dumping it on the table beside him.

He sighed and looked up at me. "What's up, Scar? I was just reading a very juicy part of this magazine. History of fashion or whatever it's called—"

"We're going out for lunch."

"Huh?" He asked with his brows raised in askance.

"You heard me. We're going out for lunch. I missed lunch,"

Nodding he folded the page he was reading into a dog eat and stood to his feet
