Chapter 6

Hailey is so frustrated right now, she didn't have a class today and also she was on a day off from work. She can't think straight now and she didn't know what to do anymore, today is the day that she needs to pay Killian but she still doesn't have enough money for it.

She is thinking to run away but she knows she can't do that because Killian will still find her and she loves her job.

After an hour she decided to face Killian and talk to him, she would ask for an extension because she had no other choice. She just hope that the guy will reconsider it.

Hailey immediately take a shower and ready herself, she knew that Killian was in his company now because it was only Tuesday so she would go straight there. Before she left the house, she first sent a message to her friend that they would only meet in the afternoon because she was going somewhere.

As soon as she reached Neilsen Company, she entered immediately inside and asked where Killian's office was fortunately the employees here were kind, unlike their boss.

She took the elevator and hit the 20th floor because the young man's office was there. When she reached it she hurried out and found Killian's secretary.

"Ahm, excuse Miss, is Killian there?" she asked.

"Yes,  do you have an appointment?" 

"Ahm, nothing. I just need to talk to him,"

"If you don't have an appointment you are not allowed to talk to Mr. Neilsen, he is busy and he does not accept anyone who is just a guest," she said firmly.

Hailey was surprised because of this, she looked at the woman from head to toe. She is wondering why Killian's secretary was really like this, she is wearing a fitted dress that you can clearly see her cleavage already.

She was about to speak again when the door to Killian's office opened and a man came out.

"What are you doing here, Bea? Go back to your working area now. Do you want to lose your job when our boss finds out that you are here at my table doing nothing?" the man said.

The woman immediately frowned and marched away, she even stared at me as she passed by my place.

'The nerve of that woman, I thought she is the secretary but she is not! Bitch!" Hailey thought to herself.

"Good morning ma'am. I apologized for your behavior of Bea towards you. Do you need anything from Sir?" the man asked while smiling. Looks like he is his true secretary Killian.

"Oh, it's okay, no need to apologize. Is Killian there? I mean Mr. Neilsen," she asked gently.

"He is inside ma'am, do you have an appointment? As far as I know, Sir didn't have any meetings today. "

"Oh no, honestly I don't have any schedule for him," she said shyly.

"Is that so? Just schedule an appointment, Ma'am, Sir is busy right now and he doesn't receive any guests," he said and went back to what he was doing.

"C-can you just inform her that I need to talk to him? Please tell him that Hailey is here, I just really need to talk to him today," she begged.

The secretary scratched his head. "Wait a minute ma'am I'll take a look first, just sit down here."

The young man walked into Killian's office again and later came out as well.

"All right, ma'am, you can go inside now," he said with a smile.

Killian POV

I got into the office early because I had things I needed to fix. While I was busy signing the papers my secretary suddenly entered.

"What is it?" I asked not looking at him

"Sir someone is looking for you outside."

"Tell whoever that person is I'm busy so I don't have time to talk," I said.

"But sir she said she needs to talk to you. Her name is Hailey."

I immediately looked at my secretary because of the name she mentioned. "Hailey?" I repeated to make sure what I heard is correct.

He nodded quickly. I only knew one woman by that name, and a smile immediately flashed on my lips.

"All right let her in," I said.

I immediately got up from my seat and turned to look at the view outside the office while waiting for Hailey to enter.

I heard the door open signal that she entered already.

I immediately returned to my seat and faced her. "Have a seat, Hailey, what brings you here?"

She sat down and looked at me. "I'm here to talk to you about my debt." 

"Are you going to pay now? Well, that's right because today is your deadline for it."

"I would like to ask you if you can give me enough more days to pay you. A week is too short for me to find a payment for you," she said then bow her head.

"Deadline is deadline Hailey. You have to pay me or I'll put you in jail."

"W-what? I told you that I'll pay you and I will not run away, I just need more time because I don't have enough money. Even if you forced me to pay you, you won't get anything from me. Just give me more time Killian so that I can pay you," she said.

"And when is that? You don't earn enough for your part-time to pay me."

"You know, I'll find a way to get you paid," she replied.

"I want it now Hailey."

"Geeez! Don't you understand? So I came here to plead with you," she whispered.

Killian stood up from his seat. "Since you can't pay me, you can be my slave, you will do and obey everything I command you until you pay your debt,"

"A-what? Are you crazy? I'm studying and I still have a job so you can't do what you want me to do. And one more thing I'll pay you I don't need to be your slave!" she said annoyed.

Killian laughed. "If that's the case then I will give you three days, three days Hailey to pay."

"Three days? Are you serious? Do you think I can find such a large amount in just 3 days?"

"That's all I can give you, you want an extension, right? Then 3 days are enough. I need my money, Hailey."

"Hey Killian, with that wealth of yours, you need money? Don't fool me, you idiot!" she stung him.

"You will obey what I am saying because you are the one asking for a favor here. You will pay me after three days or be my slave."

"And what do you think of me, huh? I won't allow myself to be your slave. I won't lower my dignity just because of money," she burst out.

"Then marry me and your dept will be paid off."

"A-what ?!"

Hailey's eyes almost widened because of what the young man said, she waited for him to retract what he said or say it was just a joke but it looked like he was really serious about what he said.
