Chapter 50

Rose had gone to treat her wounds earlier but instead of going back to the house, she decided to stay until Sonia was awake before going back. She met Daisy in the waiting room and greeted her.

Rose began to pace back and forth in the hospital waiting room, her heart pounding in her chest. She had never felt so helpless before. She wished she had been able to save Sonia from the attack of the intruder but both of them didn't see it coming and we're both helpless. They could never have imagined that the young man could have had a hidden weapon with him.

"You should go home to rest if you can't stop pacing. You are disturbing me with all that back and forth, I'm trying to think here." Daisy said to her, staring at the wall with her leg crossed over the other. She couldn't believe that someone had managed to get past her security and harm someone in her house.

"I'm fine, ma'am, I can rest later, but I would like to wait till Miss Sonia is awake." Rose replied.
