Alessa checked into a suite in the best hotel in the city. It was too late to head to the house she got and besides, she was exhausted.

Her kids were still asleep till they got to the hotel, Alessa lay next to them as she watched them sleep peacefully.

She smiled and exhaled heavily before closing her eyes and drifting to dreamland.

“Here you go,” Alessa said, placing a plate of food in front of her children.

“Are we going to live in the hotel while we are here?” Aiden asked and looked up at their mother seated opposite them.

“No, we will be moving to a mansion later today. We were only here because we entered the city late,” she replied and they nodded.

“Will we get to go out?” Aria asked.

“Sure, of course,” Alessa replied with a smile.

“Eat and stop asking questions,” she said before Aiden could speak. She smiled as she watched them eat.

She looked away from them and slowly started to eat too.

They were done with their meals after a few minutes. Alessa’s phone beeped and she picked it up. She stared at the text for a few seconds before looking up at her kids.

“I need to do something out of the hotel, I will be back in fifteen minutes,” she said, standing up.

“You are leaving us by ourselves?” Aiden asked, exchanging looks with his sister.

“Yes,” Alessa replied.

“You are trusting us?” Aria asked again and their mother chuckled.

“Don't go anywhere, I will be back in fifteen minutes,” she said as she got to the door. She smiled at them before walking out of the room.

Aiden stared at the watch on his wrist immediately and set a timer for fifteen minutes.

“Come on, let’s go,” Aiden said, getting off the bed.

“Where are we going?” Aria asked as she furrowed her brows.

“To have fun.”

“Mummy said we should stay here,” she replied and Aiden rolled his eyes.

“I know but we have fifteen minutes to have fun. We will leave, run around a little, and be back before Mum gets back,” he replied and Aria shook her head.

“I don't know about that Aiden. What if we get missing? It's our first time here.”

“Ugh, then the big men working for Mum will find us. There are cameras everywhere too. Come on Aria, if anything goes wrong, I will take the blame.” Aiden assured her as he moved closer to her.

He held her hand and raised his brows giving her a look. Aria sighed and nodded.

“Fine.” she sighed. He smiled and pulled her off the bed. They both rushed out of the room together and ran down the hallway.

“Do we even know where we are going?” Aria asked as they walked around.

“No, we are just taking a walk,” Aiden replied, holding her hand firmly.

A lady pushing a food cart suddenly walked past them and Aiden’s eyes widened seeing cake on it.

“Hey, cake.” he giggled and let go of Aria’s hand and rushed after the lady.

Aria turned in the direction but she couldn't find him as the hallway was filled with employees carrying different things.

“Aiden,” she called as she looked around but couldn't find him.

“Aiden?” she called again and took the path he took but couldn't find him..

She started to run down the hallway and at the same time she was looking around.

She suddenly bumped into someone and fell to the floor.

Aria groaned in pain as she shut her eyes.

She opened her eyes to see a man staring down at her.

“You hit me,” she said with a frown and he tilted his head a little with a shrug.

“Well, you shouldn't be running in the hallway, besides, you bumped into me.” The man said and Aria sighed.

She stretched her hand to him and he stared at it.

“Help me up,” she ordered. He took her hand and pulled her up.

“Are you hurt?” he asked, leaning closer to her. She shook her head in response.

“Wow,” she muttered as she stared at his face.

Bryan raised his brows wondering what was so amusing about his face.

“Wow,” she said again.

“What?” he asked.

“You are so handsome.” she giggled.

“I know,” Bryan replied and shrugged. She laughed and shook her head at his response.

“What's your name?” he asked.

“Aria,” she replied with a smile.

“Aria,” he said and nodded a little.

“What's yours?”

“I am… “

“Aria.” They both heard a voice call. Aria turned to see Aiden running towards her.

“Aiden,” she called back feeling relieved.

Aiden got to them and glanced at Bryan. He looked away from him in a flash and turned to his sister.

“Come on, we have to go. We have three minutes left, Mum will be back soon.” Aiden said, grabbing his sister’s hand.

“I was looking for you. Where did you go?” Aria asked.

“I was looking for you too. Why did you run off?” Aiden asked back, raising his voice.

“I ran off? You left me and I couldn't find you. I was scared!” she yelled back at him and they both started to argue.

Bryan stared at the children in front of him as they argued, he had no idea what to do so he just watched.

“Fine, I’m sorry but we have to go, Mum is going to get mad,” Aiden said, pulling her with him.

Aria looked back at Bryan and smiled at him.

“Bye, Mr. Handsome.” she giggled as Aiden pulled her with him.

Bryan watched them till they were out of sight, he slowly nodded and turned to the elevator.

“Loads of trouble,” he muttered before walking into the elevator.

The kids made it back to their suite before their mother arrived.

Alessa walked in and met them lying on the bed in an awkward position.

They were both seated like they were doing nothing which made Alessa suspicious.

“What happened?” she asked and they both glanced at each other and shrugged.

“Hmm.” Alessa nodded before walking to another part of the suite. The twins looked at each other and laughed.

~

Alessa walked out of the elevator with her kids and guards next to them. They were leaving the hotel and heading to their mansion.

They got to the ground floor and headed towards the entrance. They got out of the hotel and headed to the car.

“Ma’am.” One of her guards called and stopped them. She turned to him and gave him a questioning look.

He moved closer to her and whispered something in her ear before pulling away. Alessa nodded in response before staring down at her kids.

“I will be back,” she said to them.

“Watch them,” she ordered her guards before heading back into the hotel with the guard who had informed her of something.

“Ugh.” Aiden groaned and rolled his eyes.

“This way, sir, ma’am.” a guard said leading them towards the car.

They got into the car and waited patiently for their mother.

Minutes later, Aria noticed a familiar person walking out of the hotel. In seconds, she recalled who it was.

“Hey, handsome,” she called with her tiny voice and rushed out of the car.

“Hey,” she called again, louder this time.

Bryan looked in that direction and noticed her running towards him. He stopped and paid attention to her.

She was about to get closer to him when a guard stopped her.

“You need to get back to the car, ma’am.” the guard said and she frowned at him.

“But I want to see my friend,” she whined but the guard stood in her way.

“We need to leave sir.” one of Bryan’s guards said to him and he nodded as he turned to him.

Bryan glanced in Aria’s direction one last time before walking to his car.

He got to his car and got in. Immediately his chauffeur drove off, Alessa walked out of the hotel.

Their family doctor.“Mrs. Hart.” He called with a smile and Alessa faked a smile at him.“How did I get here?” She asked as she slowly sat up.“One of your maids brought you in, ma’am.” He replied and she nodded. His smile was weird which made Alessa curious. What was going on?“It’s good to see you again, Mrs. Hart.” He said. Alessa faked a smile. If only he knew she wasn't bearing that last name again. He kept smiling which was starting to freak her out.“Is everything okay?” Alessa couldn't help but ask.“Congratulations, Mrs. Hart. You are pregnant.” He announced.
