Chapter 32

Blake was about to head back to his room to take a shower when a ringing sound got his attention. He whirled around in the direction of the noise. It wasn’t his cell. His had a different ringtone and he left it in the bedroom.

He walked around the island to catch a glimpse of – Lacey crotch walking to the other side of it.

“Lacey?” he said over the ringing.

“Shit,” she hissed in a high-pitched tone and rushed off.

Yeah, that pink blur was her. The hell was she doing hiding behind the island?
