When everyone left, Abella turned to Callum, tugging at his sleeve. “Let’s go check on her,” she said softly, her concern evident on her face. But before Callum could answer, raised voices from inside the room stopped them in their tracks.

“Why did you tell everyone?” Estelle’s voice broke through the quiet.

“What are you talking about?” Ronan replied, his tone filled with confusion.

“Ronan, you know what I’m talking about,” Estelle said, her voice trembling with hurt. “Instead of worrying about your wife, the first thing you did was call your entire family to swarm me! This isn’t what I wanted. I told you I needed you. Just you.”

When the doctor told her about her pregnancy, she was lost. Thankfully, it happened to be the hospital where his husband worked. She needed him so much but he made her wait for so long. And when he came, he came with his family.
