Chapter 42: At The Hospital

“I don't know son, I guess you have to find out by yourself ” Dad said shrugging, mom was a bit quieter now as she looked at me.

“If mom didn't do it then why was she crying?” I asked dad as I turned to look at him with my hands folded across my chest.

“ I didn't kill her Michael, please believe me” Mom pleaded with me as fresh tears fell from her eyes“ I was scared that you will blame me for her death because of what I say to you. I didn't do that ” She cried as I went to her and hugged her, My frantic beating heart calmed down, as some of the guilt washed over me.
