Chapter 45: Lillian

I woke up to the sun kissing my face softly, Danny was not beside me. Why?, because I'm at my parent's. After waking up in the hospital, I was surprised to see that the wedding preparations were on. Yes, guys I will be getting married this Saturday but I'm not happy, my best friend is lying in the hospital and there's nothing I could do to help her.

“Lily, Darling” My mom's voice called out to me down the stairs. Standing up sluggishly from the bed I threw the duvet angrily on the floor and went into the bathroom to brush and  shower.

“Lily?” Mom called me again but this time, she was inside my room. Her voice sounded excited as I wondered what would make my mom happy this morning.

“I'm in the bathroom mom, any problem” I called out to her, as I rubbed a lather of shower gel onto my back, enjoying the sweet scent.

“None dear, just  wanted to let you know that your wedding gown has just arrived from Paris
