“Deborah! Deborah!! ”
I stood up from the bed grumbling under my breath. Why will dad be waking me up so early in the morning!. Oh! I hate this! I wish I was at Michael's place where everyone treats me like a queen.
The door opened and closed as dad ventured into my room with his hands in his pocket. I stood up and walked to go meet him in the sitting room where he was seated on a couch.
“ Good morning Dad! “ I greeted him as I pulled my bathrobe closer to cover my protruding stomach.....
“ How are you?” Dad answered as he crossed his legs together before turning to look at me seriously “ Have you heard from Michael? ”
I shake my head “ No, dad. I haven't seen or talked to him after the scene at his office the other day but I will be going over to his mom's place today” I answered as my dad nodded.
