34. Bold Plans

The rest of the morning passed with Brianna making sure of Lucien's safety with all that she could manage. Before lunchtime came, Tatum arrived with a big bag on his shoulder. He informed Vicky of his arrival and told her he was to bring something the boss had asked him to bring. Vicky just gave him a nod, and Tatum knew he already got the go signal to see the boss in his private office. Tatum looked around to see if Brianna was anywhere outside the boss' office. He assumed she was inside the office when he did not see her anywhere, no matter how hard he checked the surroundings. He knocked on Lucien's door, and Brianna opened the door for him. He was a bit surprised, but then he did not let his reaction show. He simply nodded his thanks to Brianna and headed in to report to his boss.
