Vanessa looked around the empty living room, she had an odd feeling that something wasn't right..

"You!" she stopped a maid passing by..

The maid stopped in front of her "Yes miss Vanessa"

Vanessa's eyes blazed in anger, before the maid could tell what was going on a slap landed on her left cheek..

"You addressed me by my name? have you gone nuts! I'm the soon to be lady of this house and you...get lost!"

The maid scurried out of the living room with her hands on her cheek..

She turned around to leave when she heard giggles coming from upstairs.. she recognized the voice to be Ray's..

If Kyle was at the office, who could be up with Ray right now? she doubted if it was the nanny hired for him..

That kid was so hard to please just like his father! She took in a deep breath and changed her direction to the stairs..

With each step she took, she could hear his giggles getting higher and louder..

She stopped right in front of the door and hesitated for a while before pushing the door open..
