I am feeling overwhelmed and cannot handle the situation anymore.
"Stop, hon! I-I'm fine. I don't need a massage." I pulled my feet from him immediately.
"Don't be silly, hon. I'm the doctor here, and I know what I'm doing." He smiles, bites his lower lip, and looks at me seductively.
Oh my God! I felt like my heart was going to pop out of my chest. I swallowed hard as he slowly caressed my feet and slowly put them back on his lap. My grip tightened on the cup that I was holding.
I'm good at faking myself but the heck, sleeping with him in one bed is a big no for me.
Oh, dear God! Please give me strength so that I can make it through the night. I hope it will be three days tomorrow, and this will be over, but no, it's not! I still have two days to go.
I shifted my focus and sipped the warm milk he had prepared for me. Though my eyes were fixed on the TV, I made an effort to listen to it attentively. But no matter how much I wanted to ignore him, I couldn't. The way Enzo moves his fingers around my feet already drives me crazy.
What am I going to do? Should I pretend that I am sleepy? Yes, that's right!
I slowly put my cup on the bedside table and pretend to shut my eyes. I took a deep breath, trying to relax, but my body jerked when I felt his hand on my leg.
Oh, God, help! I don't think that will work, either.
"How are you feeling, hon?" He massages my feet, and they go up now.
"I-I good, hon. Thank you. That will do."
Enzo stopped and smiled sweetly. He then noticed that my cup was empty. He got up, took my cup, and walked to the sink nearby. My eyes followed him, adoring him sweetly.
Besides being a Paediatrician, Enzo never forgets to take care of himself. I have always admired his impeccable posture, where all the muscles align perfectly. I haven't seen him work out, or do I think he even goes to the gym? I don't think so, but I guess he has his way of keeping himself healthy like that.
"Lie down, honey. I will give you a full body massage to help ease your pain." He looked at me seductively again, and my heart pounded hard.
What? A full body massage? Is he. . . No way!
I blinked my eyes in a hurry, as Enzo was already in front of me. I felt reddish. My face flushed in heat, and I couldn't think straight.
"Uhm, I-I'm alright!" Instantly, my hands rose on their own, creating a boundary.
"M-My tummy is still sore," I pouted, acting like a little kitten. "Massaging my whole body won't help. I will just sleep."
He laughed a little and sat down beside me. "I know, baby. That's why I want to give you a clean massage to ease your pain," he said, planting a little kiss on my shoulder.
My eyes widened. That kiss was enough to wake me up. It was like little tingling sparkles traveled all through me. I shut my eyes and swore enough in silence.
Why is he doing it so hard for me? He is so sweet, loving, kind, and very considerate of everyone's feelings. This is my weakness. Enzo has all the qualities I want in a man, and turning him down is hard.
Okay. I can do this.
"Only my feet, hon. It's more than enough for me. You also need a rest. We had a big day together."
"Are you sure about that?" His eyes soften with sweetness.
"Yes, s-sure." I bit my lower lip. I've been stammering countless tonight, feeling tense at this moment. I need to get a grip and act like my twin sister, Kylie.
"I'm so happy that we are finally together."
I felt frozen the moment Enzo hugged him tightly. His warm embrace comforted me and loosened up the tension in my body.
"Enzo. . ."
My mouth parted when I felt the tingling sensation around me. Enzo kissed the side of my neck as he hugged me tightly. His hand came down to hold mine, and I smiled.
"Are you happy?"
I nodded sweetly. In all honestly, yes, I am happy.
"That's good. Then, that's all it matters."
Enzo is sweet, loving, and kind—a Paediatrician with a heart design to love the poor. Kids are too close to his heart. He does much community work without anything in return and loves to go further places that need a doctor for a mission.
He's the complete opposite of my twin sister, Kylie. She's wicked, evil at times, and heartless. She doesn't deserve him!
My hand fisted into a ball, thinking of Kylie. I'm angry. Why did I even agree to this? I was only hurting myself more.
Enzo's lips landed on my shoulder again. His hand caressed my hand, playing with my fingers like a massage. I smiled a little bit. It eases all my worries.
"Why do you always cover your wrist, hon?" Enzo's finger slowly undid the ribbon around my wrist.
I gasped and instantly let go of his grip. "No, hon! I don't want you to see it." I swallowed hard as we stared.
The ribbon garment had become loose, so I wrapped it back around my wrist, hoping Enzo wouldn't notice what was beneath it.
"I don't want you to see this. Don't you like it? It's my trademark as Kylie, Enzo. I just cannot remove it without permission from the company that pays me more than I need. It's my job, honey." I plastered a smile and tied them up tightly.
Of course, it's a lie. Kylie's trademarks have ribbons, garments, or anything around the wrist, and I need to do the same. That's another secret of Kylie that I only knew.
When I first started to substitute for Kylie, I noticed that Enzo was very meticulous. That's why I am careful. I should be acting like Kylie now, but the heck, I forgot.
"I noticed you're not wearing the engagement ring I gave you, hon? You didn't even notice the gift I have for you. It's on top of that table." His head pointed in that direction, and I looked at it.
"Oh?"
But what worries me is the engagement ring. I don't have it with me. Kylie didn't give it to me. She had it, alright! She's wearing it and not me.
My goodness, me! I need to make an alibi quickly.
"Uhm, I left it at home, hon. I was in a hurry and excited to come to the Island for the wedding and forgot our engagement ring. I always remove all metal from my body before tanning in my home machine." I gritted my teeth with a smile. This was the only excuse I could think of at the moment.
"That's fine. It doesn't matter," he said and kissed my hand.
"What about that? Aren't you going to open it?" he continued. Enzo's eyes are now on the golden luxury box of the Hermes brand.
"Oh. . . Then, I need to open it, right?"
Enzo stood up quickly and handed me the bag to open. My smile faded as I realized it cost over $200 million. It breaks my heart how Enzo buys everything Kylie wants. She doesn't deserve anything from Enzo at all!
I composed myself and wrapped them back into its package. "Hon, I don't want this anymore. You can return it."
His brows narrowed, looking confused at me.
"You can still return it, right?" I sweetly smile.
He nodded and took a deep breath. He even holds my hand.
"Hon, the price is not an issue. . . It's okay. It's my gift for you."
I shook my head, and our eyes locked. I could see Enzo's heart, and it was melting mine.
"Hon, I have too many bags already, and this is too much. You are enough, and that's all that matters now. I don't need any material things."
"You are enough as a gift, and I'm so lucky to have a husband like you, Enzo," I continued, looking bubbly at him.
"So, am I enough then?" He sensually whispered. The sexy look in his eyes leaps my heart.
I nodded. "Of course! You are more than enough. So, you better send it back to where you got this." I handed back the box, and he looked at it.
"Okay. I will give it back to Beauty. She told me yesterday I could hold it for twenty-four hours if you change your mind."
"That's great! Let's bring this back tomorrow to Beauty. I don't want that anymore," I said, shaking my head. He laughed.
"You are so cute today, darling, and I love how you are today. I miss you like this, and I'm shit scared of losing you in my life. I will do my best to make you happy, and I mean it, from here," he sweetly said, placing a hand on his chest.

Louise Rose.At times, you meet the right person when circumstances are not ideal. Other times, you encounter the wrong person when the moment is perfect. However, when you discover the right person at the right time in the right circumstances, it’s destiny. Fate has intertwined your paths, so hold on tightly and never let go.I still couldn’t believe it. After Hendrix’s proposal, the wedding took place. That was spot on. I wasn’t prepared. But when I saw Rosy in her wheelchair, I felt it was the perfect moment for everything. It was truly the right time for that. That night was perfect for us and everyone around us. Hendrix and I got married and were surrounded by our loved ones. It’s been a year, and everything around us moves smoothly. There are tough days alongside joyful moments. The silver lining is that we don’t argue. Even if we bicker over minor issues, we make sure that they are resolved by the end of the day.I’ve faced numerous challenges, beginning with Rosy, my father,
Hendrix."Is everything ready?" I whispered to Eleanor ahead. She gave me a thumbs-up.I took a deep breath and scanned my surroundings. I'm feeling anxious about this. I hope everything works out. This proposal is my second attempt. I chose to keep it simple. Eleanor will invite Louise to a Saturday event, which is my proposal for her.Rosy, my family, and a few of the boys will be here soon. I'm not sure what Reeve and Linus are up to, but I have a bad feeling about it. They've prepared something without telling me what it is."I'll return with Louise in two hours, okay? Everything is set. We have another surprise for both of you. So, no matter what it is, Hendrix, you cannot refuse. Understood?"I blinked. "Okay. . ." My forehead wrinkled."Don't worry. It's not going to harm you or Louise. It will be beneficial for you." She winked, patted my shoulder, and then walked straight ahead."Hendrix! What's up, bro?""Riley? What are you doing here? I thought you were still in Scotland?
Louise Rose.It feels like just yesterday, yet a month has already passed. As I glanced at my mother's name on her urn, I also looked at her picture beside it. I resemble her. She's beautiful, and I just look like her. For years, I have refused to look at her photos from Rosy's old albums. I didn't want to see her at that moment, nor did I want her image to linger in my mind. I didn't feel any anger towards her. I just didn't want to imagine what she looked like.Ideally, Rosy embodies the motherly figure I've always cherished, and during moments of hardship and solitude, it's her face I long for most.I have no regrets. If I were to look at old photos of my mother and notice how much I resemble her, I might feel resentment. Whenever I see my reflection, I see my mother, which prevents me from finding peace. As a child, I had many questions about why she left me with Rosy and why she never came back. But that was in the past. It’s all behind us now, and we are left with the answers
Louise Rose."Louise!"My heart lights in that last second before they toss me.I saw Hendrix running towards me. . . Stephanie screamed, and everything flew in the air.Splash!I held my breath quickly, and my hand automatically did the job. But the rope was tightly wrapped around my feet, and the bricks were heavy. I descended quickly at the bottom.I tried kicking, trying to get it out. I jerked my head up, trying to grasp the air. I can only hold my breath for thirty seconds at least. That was my best record when I went swimming with my friends back when I was only sixteen.I hate the waters. I'm scared of it. I can't breathe.Five, four, three, two, one. . .That's it. I can't do it. I can't untie myself. Am I going to die? Is this my end? Rosy…mum…Hendrix…***Hendrix.Damn it!"Louise!" My body was on autopilot. I run towards her."Oh my god!"I heard Stephanie scream and the rattles around. After extensive tracking, we finally caught them in the act. However, it seems too la
Hendrix.Reeve accompanied me when we arrived at El Puerto. A car was waiting for us. Xavion arranged it. He also contacted the authorities to check the area around. And because it's not yet twenty-four hours, they don't consider it as a missing person. So, we have no choice but to work out independently. The boys will be coming to help. Most of them were at the event, waiting for us, but the party was over. It hasn't even started."Mum, not now, please. I need to find Louise," I answer my mother in the line. She's been calling me non-stop."Look, son. Eddie and Marco are on their way. They might take a while, but they're coming."I sighed, feeling frustrated now. The camera recording shows not much. It did not even capture the face of the person with Louise. The area was quiet, too. They're making sure that they can't be seen. They prepare well for this and damn it. I will make them pay for this."Also, son, Eddie told me that Stephanie actually came back this morning. He doesn't be
Narrator's POV.Eleven hours earlier...Louise was supposed to call Shella, but that did not happen. Shella has been wondering all along why Louise hasn't called yet. "Why hasn't she called me yet? She was supposed to call earlier," she muttered before dialing Louise's number without any hesitation.Tot…tot…tot…"What the? Why is she unattended?"She attempted once more, but the result remained unchanged. After waiting another hour, she considered it might be the signal at that location. However, deep down, she realized it was unlikely. This area has a strong signal with telecommunications towers throughout. So, it's impossible.Shella then speculated that perhaps Louise's phone had a low battery. That's it!It was nearly seven o'clock, and Louise still hadn't arrived. She remained unattended.Shella felt a surge of panic. She realized that Hendrix would arrive shortly to pick up Louise. They needed to go to a surprise family event. This surprise was organized by Hendrix, of course
