Morning came with unbearable pain, as reality crashed down on her.

Eve struggled with so many emotions, tempted even to ditch her sister for once.

It was even more painful when she noticed that Alessandro had been awake for a while, staring at her with his head propped against his palm.

"Morning, beautiful." He muttered softly, and leaned forward to kiss her forehead, his eyes glinting more brightly than the morning sun.

"Hey" Eve said in response, and he took her hand, bringing her palm to his lips and leaving a soft kiss.

Her heart fluttered, butterflies dancing in her stomach.

Alessandro made a face, playfully, "Well, I was expecting more than a hey from my wife who just declared her undying feelings for me last night. You feel like bursting with all the love you have for me, right?"
