Thank you for reading....
Three days later… Amelia was resting after hours of filming at the set when a message alert on her phone got her attention. It was a text from Ethan. She smiled despite herself as she clicked on the notification to read it. Ethan: [Hi angel… how are you holding up? Would you like to go on a dinner date with me?] Amelia grinned from ear to ear as she typed in her reply. [Will there be nice food?] It didn't take long for Ethan to reply. It was as if he was on standby, waiting for her to text so he could text back. Ethan: [That's a given.] Amelia's smile became wider and she could feel her cheeks hurt. [Great… count me in.] She chuckled and put her phone away. The zeal to work had suddenly disappeared into thin air. She was now anxious about the date and couldn't wait to go home to choose what to wear. Ethan was so handsome, he had an imposing figure and usually stood out. She had to make sure she looked ravishing to match his elegance. Time passed by seemingly slowly.
Amelia was trembling..she didn't know if it was from the cold or from Ethan's confession. Her heart pounded heavily and she touched her chest, hoping to calm her nerves. She couldn't deny it anymore. Ethan had crawled his way into her heart… she was not sure to what extent but all she knew was that butterflies came alive in her stomach whenever he was close. There was silence after he said those words. He was waiting for something. His captivating eyes stared into her eyes as if he was trying to peer into her soul. Amelia gulped, seemingly feeling flustered. She knew what he wanted to hear. The magic words. But was she ready to make that step? Love was a powerful thing that shouldn't be taken lightly. Five minutes passed and the fire in Ethan's eyes seemed to die out. Amelia could see the look of disappointment in his eyes. 'Damn… now I've hurt him,' she thought in her head. Ethan quickly masked his emotions and stood up from his seat. "Don't feel burdened by what I s
A week had passed by in a pleasant blur after their amazing rendezvous. Filming had resumed for Amelia and she was at the set, in the dressing room, getting ready for the day. She was braiding her hair to suit her role as a teenager when Natalie, her former manager approached her with a box in her hands. "Hey Amy… look what I found. Seems you still have fans who love you, someone dropped this for you at the entrance." Natalie said with a smile on her face. "Um… why would they bring it here? Don't they usually mail it to the company's address?" Amelia asked with furrowed brows. Natalie shrugged, "perhaps they wanted to make sure it reached you because you're no longer with Royal entertainment." "Ahh right… I almost forgot," Amelia remarked and acted to get the box from Natalie. "Fuck… it's heavy.. what's in this thing?" Amelia frowned. "I don't know… why don't you open it to see what's inside?" Natalie urged. Amelia nodded, "yeah… could it be some precious stones?" She aske
Amelia jumped happily with a doughnut in her hand, a mischievous smile painted on her face as she giggled to herself, knowing very well she was on her way to annoy her husband. Served him right for deciding to work from home and stopping her from filming because of the threat she had received the other day.. She took in a deep breath when she reached Ethan's study and waited till she finished eating her doughnut. Without knocking, she opened the door ever so slightly, creating a creaking sound then peeked through the crack. Ethan appeared to be too immersed in his work. The space between his eyebrows was creased and his icy-gray eyes were focused on his laptop. Amelia opened the door wider and entered the study. She then tiptoed towards Ethan's desk. "Ethan… I wanted to ask something," Amelia said the moment she got close enough. He looked up and shook his head but she ignored him and continued, "would you still love me if you were allergic to me?" She looked down at her
When they reached the hotel, Ethan grabbed Amelia's nape and gave her a deep passionate kiss. Amelia was caught off guard at first but she quickly accepted his kiss and their tongues danced around each others' for a while until they separated to get some air. "Are you trying to finish what we were doing in the parking lot?" Amelia asked breathlessly. Ethan's kisses always took her breath away in a good way which left her craving for more. Ethan chuckled, pinching her cheeks, "so naughty… I just felt like kissing you. If it were up to me, I would kiss you all the damn time… you taste divine." Amelia clamped her legs together when she felt a zap of electricity down there. 'Damn.. this man.' She thought in her mind as she breathed in his scent. He had placed his forehead on hers for a few seconds and then leaned back into his seat. "Let's go." They proceeded to a private room they had booked in advance and waited for Jake's housekeeper to show up. "Are you nervous?" Ethan as
The moment Christabel was shot, Ethan's bodyguards took down the shooter. Ethan's heart raced…. That was a close call. He saw that Amelia appeared to be shocked so he pulled her into his arms to calm her down.. "It's okay… they are dead. They won't hurt you.. don't be scared. I'm here." He whispered as he tightened his arms around her.. His heart ached when he noticed how she was trembling and gripping his shirt tightly. He felt guilty for bringing her with him. The scent of blood hung in the air, making Ethan wrinkle his nose. Kissing the top of Amelia's head, he suggested, "let's get out of here." Amelia nodded and followed him towards the car. He could see she was still trembling which further ignited his guilt. Ethan had wanted to apologize for being angry earlier but he kept quiet. That was not the time. "Watch out!" He heard Amelia shriek just as she hugged him from behind. Confused, he turned to see what was going on when a gunshot sounded and he stumbled backwards
"Hahaha… darling. Did you hear? Amelia is fighting for her life. There's no news about it because it was blocked but I paid someone from the hospital." Cheryl took a large sip of the wine in her glass as she celebrated her enemy's downfall. She kept laughing completely oblivious of Jake's livid expression. He was upset that his people mistakenly shot Amelia, the love of his life instead of Ethan Carter. Now she was hurt while the person he intended to kill was still breathing and still in Amelia's life. "Jake? Are you listening to me?" Cheryl's annoying voice snapped him back to the present. He looked at her and internally frowned. What kind of person would be happy that someone almost got killed? He hid his disgust and answered, "sorry, you were saying?" "I said this news calls for celebration. Don't you think? We can drink and make babies-" "Get out!" Jake cut her off, anger flared inside of him. The woman he was in love with was almost dying and here she was talking ab
Amelia had a long dream. It was sweet at first but later turned into a nightmare when she realized she couldn't wake up from it. She had dreamt of a happy life with Ethan. There were no worries, just happiness and perfection. Everyday was blissful; she wanted it to last forever. But then she noticed everything was the same everyday. She kept going through the same things over and over again. It was like re-living the same experiences everyday. She realized it wasn't real and decided to make a run for it. The man in her dreams was not Ethan. At least, not the real one. When she finally escaped from the illusion, she found herself in an abyss. There was darkness everywhere and it was eerily quiet. A shiver went down her spine as she looked around. "Hello." She called out but all she heard was her own voice echoing around her. "Is there anybody here?" Again the echoing of her voice was all she could hear followed by a dead silence. Fear crept inside her, making her hug her a
