"Enter." His familiar deep voice sounded, Faith placed her hand on the door and pushed it open.

Droplets of sweat trickled down her back as she met his stare in silence. Her nervousness grew as Sterling's stare grew longer.

Three days hadn't been a long time, she cringed at the hot memory of his naked body against hers.

"Why don't you come in, Ms. Jameson?"

Faith realized she was still standing in the doorway and stepped inside on shaky legs, his intense continuous stare made it worse. She wanted to flee from his presence but had no choice but to sit down on the chair opposite him.
