Adam looked at the two little creatures in front of him with tears streaming down his face. So small and fragile. They needed tubes to help them survive.

"My children...." Adam whispered emotionally, making Leo feel that Maya's decision to hand over her babies to their biological father was the right choice.

Blood is thicker than water. That's how it is. Adam loved his children because they were his own flesh and blood.

"She was so happy when she found out she was pregnant with twins. So was I. I even cursed how lucky you were," Leo recalled the moments when Maya cheered upon finding out the gender of her babies. "If only she was pregnant with a man who truly loved her, it would have been even more joyous. Do you know how Maya felt when she saw you and Sabrina happy when you found out the gender of your baby?"

Adam swallowed hard. He looked up remembering all the mistreatment he had given Maya.
