Tina and Joy followed behind her and it was only once she'd opened the door to her own bedroom and walked in that she realised that they probably didn't know about their contract if Tina's earlier statement was anything to go by. The fact that she was staying in a different bedroom would be a dead giveaway that something was amiss.
Quickly, she came up with a plausible excuse on the spot, hoping that they wouldn't see past the bullshit she was about to spew, "Dmitri's closet's already full of all his clothes and I didn't exactly want him to rearrange everything for me so I just figured I'd use the closet in the other room. Besides, a girl's gotta have her own space too, right?" She added a wink at the end to make the explanation look more casual than it was.
Much to her relief, Tina practically clapped her hands in excitement, "A woman after my own heart!"
