Even though it was Trinity's first public appearance, Dmitri was the one who seemed more nervous, which showed in the way he kept rubbing his neck every so often and pacing the living space as he waited for Trinity to emerge out of her room. 

They'd had breakfast together this morning and he'd been all but floored as he'd looked at Trinity when she'd come into the kitchen and noticed what he'd failed to see last night in the dim lighting of the room. 

The woman had looked almost ethereal as she had walked in, taking her usual seat at the kitchen island. There wasn't anything strikingly different about her appearance, but at the same time, nothing was the same.
