Gretchen Moore was probably the most animated human being I have ever met in my life - she was no less than a cartoon character.

I already knew that she was the fifth child of her father - from his third marriage, her brother was bisexual who ended up with one of her ex-boyfriends, she had a pet python named Mozzarella, she volunteered at the local pound and her favorite movie was Zombieland.

And who was she?

She was my wedding planner.

"I think you should go for an all black wedding, given the history." She flipped her electric blue hair.

"My five-year-old daughter is looking forward to this wedding." I pointed out.

She sighed and leaned back in the chair. "That sucks. How about we make the wedding adults only?"

I gave her a flat look. "Again, my daughter is looking forward to this."

"But a beach wedding is too cliche. They do it all the time. You are Casey's daughter - you are supposed to have something extraordinary." She leaned forw

_______...○ ○ ○ O L I V I A ○ ○ ○ .Jackson suggested we drive back in his car, that he would send his assistant to pick up mine later. But I declined his offer. I did not like what he was doing. I did not know where this was going. I hated how receptive I was to him after all these years. And I hated more that he knew it too and was actively using it against me. It just wasn't fair. I did not deserve it. But I remembered what Sarah had told me once before - you cannot expect fairness or kindness from people who would do just about anything to get their way. And Jackson Reign? He was the very definition of that kind of person. So I drove myself back to the apartment with him close behind. I parked my car and hurried to the elevator. My plan was to outrun him and close the elevator door on him. But the stupid machine was stuck at one of the upper floors.“Your efforts to avoid me are starting to look ridiculous, Liv.” He said. I pretended to not hear him. I pretended to

_____...○ ○ ○ O L I V I A ○ ○ ○.I always thought that my parents were not the best - they were in their own world. My Dad cared about his business more than his family and my Mom was more interested in what the social column said about her than what her own daughter thought about her. Whatever that be, at the end of the day, both of them always showed up. They were never the kind of abandon me or let me deal with everything on my own - Sure, they did not know how to show it or maybe chose not to show it but they did love me and they always, always made sure to be there for me when I needed them, when I was on my knees. Of course, my Mom and I were always much closer than my Dad and me, but I just knew that, if my Dad told me that he had a last stage brain tumor, I would cent percent break down. Jackson made no movement on the other side. I heard the slurping of the coffee he had ordered at some point. I sat there stumped not knowing what to say to his father while he did not

______...○ ○ ○ O L I V I A ○ ○ ○.I got out of the women’s room and took the turn that would lead me to the hotel cafe. I yelped and almost screamed when I felt someone's arm around my waist but before I could get my voice out, I was caged against the wall with a rock hard frame on me and a warm, big palm pressed against my lips.My eyes widened at the person behind the ambush - stupid Jackson Reign.I tried to complain about his barbaric action but all that came out was muffled noises. “What?” He looked at me like I was the deranged one between us. I narrowed my eyes and then gestured to the hand on my lips.At least, he had the decency to look embarrassed when he realized he was the dumbass. “Don't yell.” He warned before taking his hand away and I glared at him in full force as he did. I tried to push him off of me but, nope, the dude did not move an inch.I really need to strengthen myself up because I was no match for the male specimen and the male specimen always posed

______...○ ○ ○ J A C K S O N ○ ○ ○ .“You said what?” William was grinning like the devil that he was. Only his stupid grin only lasted a moment since Kelsey appeared again with her plushie basket full of her Mommy's makeup. The same plushie basket that Olivia had spent the whole night last day restocking because of our daughter's messiness. “Honey, you better keep them back where Mommy keeps them and put your toys back in the basket, okay?” I pointed a finger at her. “I do not want another mess in this house.” I had never imagined having kids, so I never knew what my parenting style would be. Turns out, in the game of good cops and bad cops, I was the bad cop because Olivia could not get mad at our daughter to save her life.“Okay, Daddy, but only after I make you and Uncle Will pretty!” She was very excited. Meanwhile, the hotshot lawyer looked like he was about to faint. “Pretty?” He asked, pointing at himself. “Yeah,” I said, rolling my eyes. “My princess is going to t

______ . . . ~ ~ ~ O L I V I A ~ ~ ~ . “He said what?” Sarah almost scared Ursula’s assistant. I was back in my annoying mother’s fashion designer friend’s studio, taking measurements for yet another wedding dress. The first time I was here, I was probably the happiest bride on the planet - I was marrying a man who understood me, who respected me and who cared for me. I was marrying a man I was slowly falling in love with. But this time, all I felt was irritation and a need to get out of the extravagantly decorated place as fast as humanly possible. “Can you believe it?” I rolled my eyes. “After everything, he thinks we can have a normal family.” “Oh please,” Sarah took a sip off the disgusting green tea lemonade they offer and kecked. Yeah, she should have listened to me when I said not to ask for any beverages. She put the glass down with a disgusted look and then continued, “He is probably planning something else. Sure, you don’t have the company anymore. But you do

  • The Billionaire's Wrong Revenge: Darling, Please Come Back    96. Jackson Being Weird

_______ . . . ~ ~ ~ O L I V I A ~ ~ ~ . I walked out of Kelsey's room and into the living room to find Jackson in the same position he had been for the past two hours since dinner. "What on earth are you plotting now?" I did not mean any harm. I was just trying to get him out of whatever dark place he was. Not my job, but still doing it anyway because I was an idiot. "Why hasn't he contacted you again yet?" He asked. "Oh, I don't know. He probably must have contacted me already but I just didn't tell you because I am on his side, remember?" I rolled my eyes. I was trying to help him did not mean that I was going to be nice to him. Especially when he was never nice to me. I did not know why Jackson Reign hated me so much. Whatever animosity there was between us, he was the one who started it in the first place - I was just doing whatever I did as a reaction to his actions. I did not believe that I could be blamed for any of that. I guess in his mind I was the villai
