CHAPTER TWO
The morning sun rays reflected through the front window of Clara's room to the pink coloured walls that also had a splash of red and blue paints. The breeze was warm and gentle; that the curtains were raised from time to time until it finally hung on the cliff. Isabella gazed through the window and saw the outward gardern that were decorated by borders of bustling rose flowers, purple hibiscus, boungaivillea and others. Women waking with children by their side holding hands, some with babies thrusted on thier breast as she narrowed her eyes. She had now seen those early smiles fled from the face of her elder sister, Clara.Clara still leaned back against the wall, her eyes closed, fighting for control over her feelings. She closed her eyes from time to time, and whenever she opened them, she saw him. It was difficult to think a minute, without Leo's face, clouding into her mind. It made her feel more crazy that she had fallen in love with him.Isabella have been talking for a while, until she noticed that Clara's had kept mute. The silence might have said something about the incidents of yesterday. Isabella was particularly scared that if her sister found out that she had framed Leo up in thier sexual act; she would be mad. Clara's thought were quite different from her intentions if only she knew what was running through her mind. Her sister voice still filled the background, until she made a remark that saw Clara gazing at her from the distance in shock. 'I know you love him'. She looked at her, as she brightened her eyes.''Who? What are you talking about? Clara expressed anxiously.'I saw the way you were looking at him yesterday, Isabella obliged.'I admire his beauty but not his character, he is too proud? Her face had tightened into a grimace.'Oh! Really! You would give up the dreams of marrying a rich and handsome guy for pride?'Isabella! What do you take me for? A slot?'There's no harm trying, marrying him would change our lives forever.''Clara, you look so worried, I can see you can't get over him'. Isabella insisted.'You lied! Pure lies, I'm far beyond that'. Clara struggled in a thin pretence.'You haven't really told yourself the truth'.Clara thrusted herself on the bed, and for a while thinking deeply, and as she sighed heavily, she immediately bolted up right from her bed and stood steadily looking across to Isabella who sat in front of her mirror. It seems her dreams are becoming reality, after she had pulled all the tricks in her mind to know if her sister truly loves Leo, but it appears she doesn't and those mild smiles sprawled on the face of Clara.'Why are you smiling dear sister'. She questioned in her confused state. Clara was already starting to feel suspicious but felt Isabella was her blood sister, and looked unreasonable to think of her evil intentions.'No, it's just a causal smile'. Isabella corrected.Clara looked midly at her image in the mirror feeling a rumbling in her stomach. 'He's just so irritating! A slow burning anger begins to build inside her.'But why do you not find him attractive; he is what everyone would go crazy about''Not everyone is attracted to money and riches.' Clara agitated. She walked slowly from the wall and stood behind Isabella twisting her hair as if it had intentions of forming into a ponytail. She always did that ever since there were kids.'Apart from trying to rape you, could you believe he entered into the bathroom''To do what?''He was just staring at my nakedness'. Clara gave a sheer face as she looked at Isabella's face in the mirror. Isabella laughed so loudly this time covering her mouth, so that the laughter doesn't seem too pronounced. When she turned backwards and glanced across to Clara, with a sheer-rocked face, she stopped smiling.'He tried to rape you' Clara pressed softly.'Sister but that could be a mistake''Why do you think it's a mistake! Is there something you are not telling me?' Her face harderned.'Obviously no! Sister! Sometimes we talk carelessly''It wouldn't have been a mistake if that bastard harmed you deeply.' she placed her hand on the table.'I know'. She lowered her eyes but smiled when they faced the ground.'I could have broken his head yesterday, he should be grateful that I didn't tell Daddy'For a while they had been talking, but were blind to the presence of Leo who rested nearby_beside the window eavesdropping to all their conversations. A bustling red flowers encircled round his feet and he could barely move backward or forward except he jumped through them, cause they were high up to his thigh. As Leo heard those words from Clara, he felt a stone in his heart, something he had never heard before, something he had never felt before and his eyes furrowed downward in curiousity.Mr Alfonso intend making his way to their room, meeting Leo by the door suprisingly whose face was buried there. He echoed his name, but he quickly overshadowed Mr Alfonso, and placed his hand by his mouth. He thrusted the gift in his hand and left quickly for them not to notice. They were both laughing loudly until they heard their Dad, voiced Leo's name. He walked slowly into the room. He glanced across them, smiling and felt relaxed, clearing his throat causally.'It's beautiful to see you ladies smiling again''Dad, did I here you say Leo!'I did, just felt like calling him, I love him so much''You called him, as if he were there with you'Sir, Alfonso stared particularly at Clara and blessed her with a smile that seemed so different from the one he gave Isabella. Isabella's face darkened with bitterness. Sir Alfonso always had Clara as his favorite because of her modesty and composure, but slightly despised her younger sister which was the opposite attraction.'Dad!' Clara smiled so brightly'Leo sent a message and gift wrapped around for one of you, when I met him in the ranch.' he lied. Isabella rushed to the position of her dad's and smuggled the gift away from his hands, and when she held it to see whose name was written bodly on it, her face turned sour.Clara's name was bodly written on it from Leo with a letter:'I have been longing to see you again, Clara, I love you so much and i haven't had a good sleep ever since I met you, I would love if you accept my proposal'- LEOIsabella thrusted the gift on Clara and hissed casually.'Why are you angry sister' she obliged.'No I'm not, why should I be'.Isabella pretended with an half smile that ran across her lips and when she turned towards the wall she felt like crying. Anger boiled in her heart. Sir Alfonso interrupted them, with a serious look on his face, while Clara still checked the content of the box, discovering that it was a rose flower, and their eyes peered closely at it.'He needs a house maid; and I told him I could provide him with one of my daughters at least to augument our income.' They both fixed a gaze at him.'I could offer this service, Father!' Isabella's face brightened once again. Isabella sought for every chance to be with Leo, but it seems those dreams were crumbling.'Isabella! You are still in college, you need to concentrate on your studies' Sir Alfonso stressed.'Dad, but why did he send me flowers''Clara I have no answer to that but it think you best fit the job, since you are less occupied now''Why me?'Sir Alfonso looked blankly at her, Clara's weird facial expression receive those words with a tumbling in her mind.'I will make the letter ready tommorow''Dad, you cannot just decide like that''My love, it is needed to save our family from our financial crisis'.'You are trading me for money, Dad'. Isabella interrupted them calmy.'You shouldn't Clara! You cannot trust him after all he did to us yesterday.' 'Yesterday, Leo! Am I missing something darlings' He gave them a confused look.Nothing dad, it's absolutely fine Clara said, while she tightened her face staring harshly at Isabella. Sir Alfonso shrugged causally. Clara was puzzled by her sister's sudden change of mind after she had earlier pressed him to her. She was starting to feel suspicious of Isabella, all events encircled round her mind till she relaxed back now into her seat, as her father walked out of the room. She still looked at Isabella who still sat in front of the mirror, with many thoughts running through her mind. It's a cruel world for sisters to share same feelings for a guy, it might certainly rip them apart.CHAPTER TWENTY FOUR'I felt so worried yesterday''What's wrong darling? He looked scarily into her eyes. They were still naked on the bed, but the blanket had covered a large portion of her body. Leo still looked at her, wondering if she was in a roundabout way talking about how he had sneaked into her room and had his way with her. He was calm and quiet, wondering where she was directing her worries to.'I followed Isabella yesterday''It remains a secret, I saw a man who clasped her hands into a corner''You followed me with your eyes''Yeah I just did, but didn't know what they did afterwards''Do you know who I saw''You know dear, I mean you worry much. It could have been an old school Friend'.'Really, I saw the man who tried to kill you that day:'Wait! You mean the guy that kidnapped you''Yes' 'Wait! What could she be doing with Isabella'Clara had come into recognition after she had exposed her sister. She was being over protective. She quickly diverted the topic and he wa
CHAPTER TWENTY THREEIt was evening and everywhere was cold. Isabella had dropped from a taxi and looked around widly. The environment seemed so serene, and she loved the smell from the gardens. It was a bursting rows of purple hibiscus and bougainvillea, and they appealed mostly to her. She had grown up admiring flowers in the way that her sister did. Their father had once worked as a Gardener before he ventured into ranching. They were lovers of flowers. She had wondered if this place was really the house of Jasmine. It seemed quite beautiful and peaceful. The modest houses where families found their peace but he stayed alone. She had delivered this thought to her mind, to make sense out of all she had said. She removed the paper from her bag which she had written the address. It was similar and her expression was awe. It didn't seem quite true to her because many things ran through her head. Isabella thought about how he could afford this luxurious house and the th
CHAPTER TWENTY TWOIsabella face flushed through the sun in anger as she stepped out the taxi. Her feet felt so light, but her mind bothered around so many scary thoughts. She walked forward a bit in a bid to mourn her father and a thousand eyes gazed at her in curiosity. She could feel the silence of the sorrowful environment; and the sad music that sank into her heart. Isabella was dressed in a dark gown that has red rose attached to her breast. Every great personality in the city was there, even family members, but she felt throughly abadnoned. Isabella knew they came all because of the affluence of Leo.She arrived since but all eyes still followed every footsteps she walked up to his grave and dropped the flowers. Leo still held strongly to Clara who rested on his chest. She watched her closely with a kind of eye, that were filled with tears emotions. She wasn't sure about her intentions and had left her to moan for a while. It was this that infuriated Isabella having glanced at
CHAPTER TWENTY ONELeo had come to his office early that morning to sign some documents. It frustrated him to remember those things that Clara had saw him do. Isabella was callous on the day that they lost their father by getting him into one of her dirty behavior. He got tempted to apologise to her, and she wouldn't have listened, so he wrote a letter and the letter felt cold as his heart because she had refused to read it. He saw his last chance frizzling in the air. He knew things were dangerous with the romantic affairs with the two sisters. He didn't want to get involved in it. They had actually gotten into the fracas after the incidence at the Sushi restaurant. He knew they were after her live because of him. Isabella would surely be after her that moment he slapped her. It all went in the mingling horror of seeing Clara over Leo. It was the least she could think about. She had made several attempts but Clara had always escaped. Perhaps, she was strong willed. She wasn't awar
CHAPTER TWENTYClara sat in an arm chair with her eyes closed and her legs clutched together at the top. She cursed herself for all the moment, he didn't see him continually holding her hands, or hugging with the remark 'you are a darling'. This sensual love ran through the family for a long while. She wanted stayed a bit longer with him, to make her errs in whatever she has done in the past. She titled her head to the door, and all she saw were void images, and slowly leaping her hands to their air, with the winds wailing and winding all around. Clara missed her father and now there was no one to occupy that hollow that he had left in her heart. She longed for him, her emotions are becoming hollow, deepened by her soulful cries. She looked forward to the moment he would see Leo and would embrace him till her tears had filled his shirt. It came so clear to her, that he had become her only companion. She had seen the letter earlier before Isabella realised and had kept it a secret. H
CHAPTER NiNETEENLeo fell back slowly in his chair and his heart was heavy in a way that sent shivers rushing round his body. He took off his glass and sat up straight, to wipe the tears, still in his eyes. He had paused his lips for that quiet moment as the sad news of Sir Alfonso's death ran through his mind. His tears were slow and steady as he sat up straight piercing the blank paper with a pen. The fans still whirled in the celling but he already hung his suit. He felt this internal heat inside him and his tears led way for the rest of his emotion. The office was quiet sill, and the only thing that echoed was the whirling of the fans. He just held his phone and brushed aside the office files that occupied his front to the other end. It was difficult to accept that Sir Alfonso is dead. He was like a father to him and expected that he would see the blissful union between he and Clara. He put a call to Clara who he felt would be heartbroken, he is too, and his eyes looked tired f
CHAPTER NINETEENNanny had left the kitchen, in her usual apron, smiling brightly as she has always done. The feeling of warmness cloned her as if they were something more attached to it. She was the chef of The Dante before Sir Dante made her pregnant. Initially, it was an agreement, and she yielded since it was intended to make the family smile. She had borne this secret for years and the pain of Sir Dante's wife calling Leo son. She had to adapt, but it was not easy either. Before she left, she had told Clara to help her make the cookies that remained. She smiled, with a feeling that she intends getting something inside. And as she walked pass the door to the gate, she saw someone at one corner peering through the house. She wasn't sure who he was and he had never seen him before. And as she walked slowly, he came out of his hideout and dropped a letter on the gate. The gate keeper was inside, and he could probably not see it until he opened the gate. He ran off quickly as she tr
CHAPTER SEVENTEENIsabella needed a gun, and her tongue thirsted for liquor and cigarette. Her lips ran dry. She walked to get it from her bag and removed it She unzipped her cardigan and her eyes whirled round her room looking for her gun and remembered that she was drunk yesterday. Isabella sat on the bed thinking about those pleasurable moments with Leo. There was some tears that stood in her eyes but never rolled down. These tears rolled down from her eyes whenever she remembered that Clara is around him. She walked up slowly and looked across the window, sunlight beamed on her face. Isabella saw two teenager, and admired them as they walked together in the lonely street holding thier hands warmly. Isabella had wished that it was she and Leo, and that would encircle perfectly. She still had to get her gun, she had left them on the chair after being drunk, maybe her father had took it. She hitted the tip of the cigarette and the smokes died slowly. As she glanced across
CHAPTER SIXTEENLeo headed down the stairs from his room, with the door gently opened. He didn't want to wake her up, and if he did, he would desire to do it in a romantic way. He felt the need to walk silently through the room, peering through every slight corner. Clara still layed covered with the blanket, curling her hand and feet together. The night swayed romantic events in his mind, as he continued to walk slowly, smiling in his pyjamas. Clara eventually made him into something he could look and admire. She loved him deeply in the same sence that he does, but she is always cautious.Yesterday, she leaped on him and her skin felt heavy on his breast. His lips were hesitant to run round her nipple and she laid helpless moaning and leaping gently in the pleasure. His wagging tongue had reached almost every part of her body till she became wet. They were hoping not to wake Nanny Divine and Sir Alfonso, as she kept moaning all night. It was her first sex with him, but she wasn't
