Alva, on the other hand, sat at the dining table feeling lonely and alone. She had a box of chocolate beside her which she ate one after the other, and she sighed. She wondered why Jaxon hadn't come back home yet, could he be stuck in traffic, could he be working late?

Her heart said differently, but she ignored it, standing up to pack the food she had prepared for him and placing it in the fridge. She would warm it for him when he came around, and he could warm it too, whatever.

She walked up to her room, picked up the box of chocolate on the table, and she entered the room which was just as white and empty as when she had first arrived. She lay on the bed. It was soft and warm, different from the cold feeling the room gave off. She picked up her phone to call Jessie, and the line rang three times before she picked up.
